peteski Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 (edited) Yes the color of that Vette is rather subtle. Almost like khaki camo. Probably helps avoiding police. I'm used to see cars in more lively colors (after all a Vette is an exotic car which should turn heads) like this: Edited March 4, 2023 by peteski
RSchnell Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Saw this '32 Pickup at the pizza place earlier. Probably built in the late 80s and driven & enjoyed since. Rode out the neighboring industrial area & found this Falcon parts car & 40s Buick convertible next to it. And a couple others.... 1
Suburban_Hooligan Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 i find that car in a parking lot of that condition to be unsettling. like someone asked how many body's can you fit in the trunk of a 63 Imperial and someone said i have one lets find out. news at 10. 1

It was unusual to see, given that it is 60 years old. First noticed it there about a month ago, has current registration sticker on the rear plate. It’s behind an empty office building that has for lease signs..

Unusual indeed, given the age and type of vehicle, the current registration, open location and its been sitting there for some time now. Perhaps asking law enforcement to take a careful look would not be seen as overstepping, especially in today's society. ? Joe 1

Joe It could be someone working in that building, maybe a security guard or someone from property management...I don't go down that street that often..not sure if it's always there..
sfhess Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 (edited) A TVR on a trailer and a Gallardo in East LA freeway traffic. Also an Aston Martin DBX Edited March 6, 2023 by sfhess
misterNNL Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 No photo, but got passed by a Shelby pickup yesterday. Never saw one before, massive thing indeed.
The Junkman Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 I got to go to Phoenix to take in a couple of spring training games (Go, Giants-or at least be interesting) and while driving on Saturday night I saw 4 new edition Corvettes within one block of the restaurant in the Biltmore area. Is there a nest or something in the area?

Is there a nest or something in the area? Neat...that's my old neighborhood. Lived about a mile from the Biltmore and would frequently shop/dine along Camelback there. Lots of nice cars around there.

doorsovdoon Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 Saw this Morris Marina camper the other day as I was pulling out of the road. Not the pic of the actual car as I didn't have my camera, but same colour. Might have even been this one as there's not many of these around! 3

89AKurt Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 Despite our dirty streets with cinders, this beauty was at a fast food place. Only after it got downloaded, did I see a classic Chevy pickup at the drive thru. 5
sfhess Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 I saw a really nice 57 Pontiac convertible the other day. Same colors as the Safari in Kurt's post but white was the main color.
Rob Hall Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 Windy, springy/wintry weather coming back from Columbus on I-71 today--snow flurries/whiteout/sun/rain..the only unusual car I saw was a '72 Dodge Coronet in black w/ white doors and roof...like an old school police car w/o any markings.
RSchnell Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 Rode out some industrial areas after the model show today. Found a few goodies.... I'd love to have that Super Cab '76 Ford F-250.
Suburban_Hooligan Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 ok, maybe not on the road. but this buzzed my house on its way to land at the Long Beach Airport maybe a hour ago. im no plane expert but i think its a C-47 (?) but i could easily be wrong. i should have run in the house and grabbed my camera instead of just using my phone.
