  1. Oh yeah! A properly done Newman 280ZX! This excites me!
  2. ebay Scalper's Hearts are breaking all over the place! Finally, the goods are coming!
  3. Wow, Round 2 really wants my money! At least 4 of those kits will find a home with me!
  4. That is Krazy!
  5. I just wanted it for the vintage factor and the fact that I did not have a Sizzler in the collection. But I do now. And it is ok for the nostalgia type kit. I have tons of aftermarket stuff and this is not exactly a kit I was planning on harvesting for parts. This is just a quickie, not really caring for extreme detail or accuracy type of builds, kind of a model and it will be built as such. So yes, I will say "Good Enough" and that is my choice. Your mileage may vary!
  6. This should be a fun build! And what is this "Snow" that you speak of?
  7. Wow, even the trees are Aurora like! I would like to pick these up, but for the price of a regular kit, I might just wait.
  8. So, this is where the MPC release originated from... Ikko Kits, Japan
  9. Yup, just like the original, only smaller!
  10. Wow! What a flashback!! Very nice and clean.
  11. Love it! This is a cool build!
  12. The Decal segment was pretty good, for while, with many folks using ALPS printers and creating decals that have never been seen before! It was great and people got excited about it! Some would start asking for decals, the decals where made and then no one would buy them. Yes, people asked but didn't buy. Making decals is not easy and it takes time. Most decal makers quit selling and only made them for themselves and some did them on commission. But the decals craze died down, the ALPS printers went away and now we are here, wishing for decals we can't get. These decals can be made with a good ink jet printer, the only drawback is that they can not print white, like the ALPS, and that is the only handicap to it. But, there is no white in these, thus they should be a cinch for someone with a copy of the decals, a good scanner and the printer for the job.
  13. This I suspect would be a decent seller considering the subjects that have been released in 1/20th lately and have sold. And this is a very desirable kit for race car collectors and I am sure a more friendly price than auction site prices would greatly help sales. As for the molds, I am sure they are around somewhere, but who know what shape they might be in.
  14. They are still roaming around in San Diego!
  15. Clean build! Brings back some good cruising memories! I can hear the Alpine push some tunes through the MTX speakers via a Fosgate amp in my buddies 85 NIssan. Good times!
  16. Coming June 1st, 2019! San Diego IPMS and The San Diego Model Car Club will present the Annual Model Expo at the San Diego Air and Space Museums Annex at Gillespie Field in El Cajon, CA The themes for this year are Normandy for the IPMS and Gasser Wars for the San Diego Model Car Club Flyer to be posted soon!!
  17. Built by SDMCC Member and Pres, Glenn Day
  18. A couple of old builds
  19. The AMT Ivo car will also work, but, you will have to do some body work.
  20. Wow, that is nice! Really dig that scheme
  21. Nice build and super clean!!
  22. I often wonder how a Revell FED would have looked if it had been done off the 1/16 patterns. It would have been one delicate piece. But way more accurate and better looking than the MPC cars.
