  1. Another vote for embossing powder. Easily the more scale-looking of the two, in my opinion.
  2. Nice and clean! Love the yellow!
  3. Wow... great build Aaron!
  4. Great build. I like what I see!

    64' IMPALA

    Nice build! Love the colors...
  6. Great job. Love the 6 cylinder choice!
  7. You'll have fun with the '41. As everyone has said, learn from mistakes and don't worry how your first few turn out. Like all things creative, you'll improve as you build. Good luck!
  8. Nice build! Being primarily a car builder, I'm not really up on what was or wasn't available in kit form as far as Chevy pickups to use a starting point for a 63' c50 or 60. I have seen where Revell 65' kits are available and it does look at first glance that cab might work with mods to the grille/headlights. Are the 63' pickup kits pretty expensive when found? Have they been re-released?
  9. Great finish Jason!
  10. Great pdf links. Thanks!
  11. Thanks for the tips.
  12. Looking for suggestions as to how to approach building a 1/25 62' or 63' C50/C60 Chev. I'll admit to not knowing much about what was/is available in either kit form, or resin. Expecting nothing in kit form, I'm sure there would need to be scratchbuilding/kitbashing needed, which I'm ok with. I'm looking to build a car hauler. Thanks
  13. Great work!
  14. Great subject for a chop!
  15. Great build and I like the color too.
  16. Kitbashing is fun! Especially when you aren't worried about having everything end up being totally, mechanically, perfect or correct. Enjoy your build and welcome back.
  17. Great job!
  18. Good start getting back into building!
  19. Great start! Following...
  20. Tires made a nice add. Great build!
  21. George Jetson's '29.
  22. Beautiful build!
  23. Nice Poncho!
  24. I apologize if this site is already known to most of us here. I stumbled on it when I was looking for info on Doc Halladay and his Telstar cars. FWIW, I think it's a pretty cool site to bookmark and have available when you need pix of 70's floppers. On top of that, the captions make really good reading too. http://www.70sfunnycars.com/index.html
