  2. Built this up from the Scott Sharp Rain-X Camaro kit...no real problems with the kit...the decals were pooched, so had a little fun with it. Oh ya, I had to grind about a 1/4" off the front of the dash where it meets the inside of the window Decals camre from Mike's decals.com and are Ace Decals, There are enough on the sheet to do another,...maybe an actual '66 Chevelle next time? Line O tape supplied the 1/32" red pin stripe tape, but I have some 1/64" on it's way,... so I may replace For some reason my Tamiya flat gloss XF 86 dried semi gloss on the tire sidewalls...hmm Primer and paints, Duplicolor, cleared with Alclad Aqua Gloss Clear ALC 600 Always loved the colour combo on his cars..   7. Hey Scott..good to see you back ! Funnily enough I have just started a Cobra build down in the 2020 Cannonball CBP... I have been on the hunt for some proper Goodyear tires for this kit. I do have some from Fireball Model works, but they are BF Goodrich Fatties Keep us updated on your progress...will be watching... Cheers

I've got an extra pair of distributors from HRM...if your interested Randy Ditton sent two pair to me when I started my 365 gtb... need to get back at that...   19. rain day Bench time !! trying to finish the fantasy Smokey Yunick trans am car (plan on getting this Under Glass.... today), and starting on stance for the Cannonball Cobra Have fun at the bench...Cheers
  20. I have had most of these brushes for over 5 years.. I use both acrylic, and enamel paints with these same brushes. I clean them by first wiping the excess paint off on my rag, then rolling them gently against the inside of a glass of the appropriate thinner. Never bounce the point of the brush off the bottom of the glass ! Then just wipe off on a paint rag or paper towel.. that's it, no extra rolling or trying to get inside the bristles. If the brush starts to build up too much (from lazy cleaning or old thick paint) I give it a quick clean in lacquer thinner, fixes it right up. Beware of mixing polyester bristle brushes lacquer thinner, the bristles will curl and sometimes fall out of the brush ferule... ? One thing that may help in not letting the brushes build up too much paint, would be to dip the brush into the appropriate thinner before dipping in the paint. This helps in the flow of the paint as well. Happy Building Cheers
