  1. Tim, thanks for sharing information about his kit. You have tipped the scales and now I am seriously going to buy this kit.
  2. I have both the hardtop and convertible of this kit. Complainers compare it to the AMT. With the choice of no AMT or this kit, the answer is work with this kit. The finished mode shown here is very nice.
  3. I will probably buy one of these kits. Sadly , the clear red tail light are gone!
  4. Back in 1975, I used the Dodge 4X4 unit for the then new AMT Ford pickup truck. It was backwards. New Process Gear -Syracuse, NY, was a Mopar division.
  5. Original kit had plastic pins. AMT was practicing cost reductions in the 60s.
  6. I called Ray up on the phone and asked him about the availability of a kit, many years ago. He was nice to talk to.I could sense his frustration. Too bad he is gone.
  7. I have this kit too. 1973 issue. The grille seems too big compare to the AMT. Which is correct?
  8. If Round2 did the NASCAR racer, the parts are probably still there to create a stock Cyclone
  9. I hate to rain on somebody's parade but I wish it was 1/25
  10. I don't want just the chopped top
  11. The dog dish hubcaps are important
  12. I don't see anything in stock
  13. There are 3 MPC 1972 GTO bodies. The original annual has "400" on the front fender and no cowl detail. The 1980 issue is similar to the recent Round2 issue but the rear bumper fits.
  14. Paul, you are doing a great job. I am tired about people complaining about a price on something not even available yet.
  15. The small block in MPC's 71-73 Mustangs are pretty small.
  16. Mark is correct. The convertible kit has a 396 Chevy V8 and no six.
  17. https://www.ebay.com/itm/MPC-1969-CAMARO-SS/193019624822?hash=item2cf0ddbd76:g:N6wAAOSwHfZdPhp0 this is the kit, not my auction
  18. This OHC6 is in the reissued 1969 MPC Camaro hardtop for some strange reason. Also Pontiac V8
  19. MIke how did you get that blue lacquer to shine? You live pretty close to me and the humidity makes all my lacquer paint jobs a foggy haze!
  20. The wheel base was 114 inches from 1972 to 1979 for the 2 door anyway. Having said that , I installed a S?H chassis to a Johan and it was tooooooooooo wide. Had to do a lot of whittling
  21. Why is it all that I remember of late 70s Novas and their derivatives, is a car riding sideways down the road? The front ends and rear ends were in different lanes!
  22. I am building a 1971 V8 Vega using a $20 promo. Easy to scribe the hoop open
  23. I heard the same about a California 350V8. Probably an emission testing issue.
