  1. It seems to me neither Ford nor GM made any money on these cars. Just cars to say "We can!"
  2. In 1975, I threw this kit in the trash. Rear bumper didn't match. Good just to say it had a bumper.
  3. Round 2 reissued the 1973-74 with some of the common parts of 71s. This 1971 Roadrunner shown is the 1988 ERTL issue. Very nice. It seems to me that Round2 is missing the 1971-1972 body. It's a no brainer to reissue that kit.
  4. It's really a 1959, but it's light years ahead of the AMT.
  5. I know Revell added the exhaust tips but, I don't believe they came with 68 Chevelles when new Pipes turned down towards the side at an angle.
  6. I am curious , what is better about the USA version than the Chinese? I have both. Boxes are different for sure. You did a great job on the 327 mill.
  7. That describes my mother's 1951 Chevy. The lever was a box attached to the steering column. Had one red light indicator. Car also came with no heater for a New England winter. My grandfather installed an aftermarket heater.
  8. there sems to be a lot on eBay for 20ish dollars.
  9. All true. I suspect sales will cool down, now but a convertible or 1969 version will bring back the demand
  10. Bad you don't have one, good Revell sold them all. I don't want Revell to go out of business again.
  11. The old kits were were based on 1/10 wood models that most likely came from the big 3. Better is subjective, but clearly some roofs and wheel wells on some new models don't match the prototypes. I have thought some new kits were more accurate than the naysayers said.
  12. Too bad they are square
  13. AMT made some great side mirrors in the early 60s
  14. It took me 3 Ebay buys to get one presentable amt 1965 Chevelle SS
  15. This Brat has the Chicken tax seats in the bed. Similar to the Ford Transit rear seat.
  16. Men in Black 3 shows the AMT 1964 Galaxie
  17. National Coach Engineering converted these Camaro convertibles and other cars too. These since gone out of business.
  18. I agree. The chrome reverse wheels were an addition to the Gear hustler 65 El Camino. Separate tree added to the kit.
  19. Did the 1932 custom cycle fenders ever come back in Round 2?
  20. The hood scoop was based on the information that GM was going to do a 1975 GTO. The kit is pretty accurate for a car not offered or cancelled at the last moment.
  21. Can we see the frame installed?
  22. Maybe somebody here can send it over to you
  23. Steve,I won't critique your work as it is always better than mine
  24. The 67 AMT Chevy C10 and Barracuda are surprising similar to the MPC 1969 offerings.
  25. They may have been 16 inch Lorenza wheels.
