  1. This trailer's heritage from 1960-62 AMT pickup kits with added parts.
  2. Bill ,I like the green on that 74 Vette last 454
  3. I ordered all the 65-68 biscaynes and 64-66 catalinas for shorter bodies.
  4. I hope they include the turbo charger. Pintos can be wicked fast with a turbo.
  5. First MPC Chevelle was 1971. The modified stocker 1970 was done later
  6. The AMT Pinto kits were promo based and as you say wonky. The had a hatchback that MPC didn't have. MPCs were better kits.
  7. Thank the EPA for suing and killing off Baldwin supercars They never made that many anyway so why the big deal to eliminate them in 1975.
  8. I ordered mine from Megahobby in August. Great model. Stock parts not found in original AMT kit.
  9. I bought the Pinto wagon. Same basic parts as my 1974 Pinto coupe. I like the early Pintos best. Cut The early front and glued it to this wagon.
  10. Probably the non hatchback of MPC 1974-1977 fame. Compared to the AMT, it fit okay.
  11. I think the AMT '68 Chevelle put contemporary Revell kits to shame in 1968. Hard to compare 50 years of industry.
  12. I meant a SS427 Impala 1968-69.
  13. Both the Revell 1968 Chevelle and 1967 Camaro kits were worth waiting for. I just wish a SS427 68-69 was in the works someday.
  14. I received 3 new 1968 Chevelle model kits. Very nice. The new grille is bigger than the old AMT. Same as the 68 Elcomino. Makes me wonder if old AMT 68-69 Chevelles are undersized?
  15. So, true. 69s had wheel lip moldings too
  16. Great movie. Also a 63 Imperial convertible used
  17. Looks like the MPC Gangbusters police paddy wagon
  18. Missing link has the bumper and tail light fix; not expensive
  19. The sides on the AMT 1970-72 Chevelles have always had a wierd side sculpture. Almost like an artist rendering reflection was interpreted incorrectly. The MPC Chevelle had better sides. Unfortunately the MPC 72 annual became a NASCAR racer and it was ruined for stock. As a return as the SSlasher, it had some funky details. You can fix it. The Revell snap has the best side features, IMHO
  20. These kits had a reason in 1965 when 1/32 slot cars were hot.
  21. That's a nice box
  22. It's a cool kit. Apparently none of the actors liked the car. Too uncomfortable.
  23. How much was the race kit at Ollie's?
  24. MY PL 64 GTO was a poor fitting PIA. It was no snap, pun intended.
  25. where can we buy these parts?
