  1. Well done grafting the 2 halves together, it definitely looks better as a tandem JT is gonna love the color scheme too ? Glad to hear everyone made out okay after another serious storm passing thru . Luckily being in NY we've had a couple storms , but man the mosquitoes this yr are dreadful. Hard to enjoy few dry days when the little blood suckers are out in droves
  2. Nailed the look , beautiful model trailer That subtle exhaust staining along the side looks excellent too
  3. Sounds like I need another bucket of popcorn...definitely watching your car hauler come together

  10. trailers looking good KJ ! Nice touch adding the stained wood panels inside the vent doors
  11. Charles- no I haven't seen the new tubing yet ! I actually should pop into the lfs for a few supplies , weather sounds decent for a ride this wknd to take the Mach 1 out Aaron- the splatter screens are a good place to score screens too!
  12. Fantastic work You know now you've done all this scratchbuilding to create a beautiful model, one of the model companies will produce an injection molded one ..always seems to happen especially in the 1/35scale world
  13. Its a flat sheet , looks kinda similar to the grill . Heres a pic from the blower just for reference to the pattern Wish the other materials were still available, these are the details that really make a build stand out. !

  17. Very nice build , the color combo looks very traditional.
  18. Cant wait to see this come together ! Those Foose trucks make excellent conversions
  19. Looking forward to another fantastic build from your bench ! Enjoy these vintage truck builds that you build . That expanded metal screen looks similar to the type available in wire form screen from craft stores . Dave Natale suggested it for my catwalk on the snowblower, same that comes with his cabs
  20. Thanks ! I'm getting a little carried away adding stuff , but I have the time to make it look correct . Yep thats the water level gage spot . After paint , ill add a clear rod to the fittings
  21. Thanks Brian ! Awful time battling mosquitoes while spraying today Thanks ! Thanks Dan ! I was curious how the details would hold up under the enamel paint . Lucky light coats prevailed. I kept looking at the giant water tank , and decided it needed weld beads. CTM makes fantastic pe weld beads , and fortunately I had a few extra pieces from my Heil trailer. The water fill port got a few missing bolt heads , and the pressurized air fitting on top now has the brush guard. I kept looking at the tanks from my photos and realized what that piece of angle was for ..let's add it ! Now its ready for prime time Back to the grind tomo , and stop by agway for some red paint
  22. Really cool change fixing the bulged glass!
  23. Fantastic detail work !!! Love the history of these old trucks I was actually gonna ask which HET took its place , but you provided that answer being the Oshkosh M911 .
  24. Nice start looks like a good project
