  1. Hi Barry. Thanks for chiming in. Your car was the inspiration for this build. This is a project I really need to get back to. Thanks!
  2. I highly recommend https://www.modelhaustires.com/
  3. Gorgeous! Great save!
  4. Many were started, only 1 got done. It's about 99% done. 1968 Johan Imperial Crown Coupe. I'll post better pictures and more details soon. Happy New Year!
  5. Question about ELO. Do you soak the model in it like Super Clean or is it brushed on? The can is only 8oz so if you soak the model is the ELO reusable?
  6. Nice and clean!
  7. Nice build. I've always loved these Toyota Mustangs. Not sure I agree with the MK II's but otherwise I dig it.
  8. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.carscoops.com/2021/09/the-carolina-squat-has-been-officially-banned-in-north-carolina/amp/ Hmmm. Government overreach or common sense?
  9. 1956-68 Autounion (Audi) DKW Munga at a local body shop.
  10. Very nice!
  11. It looks like it was molded from an old weird toy.
  12. I'd love to see some Kindigit Designs (Bitchin Rides) in scale.
  13. 2 beautiful models. Why not paint the roof and trunk with the flat earth?
  14. I have one I built years ago. Might be time for a refresh. ?
  15. Wow. I tried to come up with something else to say but wow pretty much says it.
  16. What you have sounds like Silver Leaf. The adhesive is usually called "size", pronounced like the body of water as in the 7 seas. Here's a video of a guy, more like an artist, using it on bike's gas tank. I've tried it on a model years ago with some success. The silver leaf seems to be almost brittle and breaks into pieces. The one I used was multi colored so it worked ok. I'll see if I have a picture.
  17. My first time seeing one of these. I'm not sure I'd be happy going to my final resting place in a Pacifica but at that point I guess it doesn't really matter.
