  1. I'm using that manifold as well on top of the printed block.
  2. I think your friend needs to first determine what he does best, or most efficiently, then ask for input on that area. Wheels vs. engine parts, etc. Myself, I'd like to see wheels available in 1/25 & 1/24 scale 18" to 20", but you'd need to survey to see which sizes make sense businesswise. i love the suspension parts idea (think R-B Motion), but it has to be cost effective. Good luck.
  3. Great start! Looks like a winner to me!
  4. Yes, way to bring it back from the brink! Looks great!
  5. Very nice build!
  6. Very nice. The colors are fantastic!
  7. Now that everyone is back from the holidays, work on the Tiger is back on track. Since I didn't have to bail anyone out of jail this year we worked all night to get the chassis done. We changed out the front brakes to larger rotors and 4 piston calipers. We also added larger rear drum brakes from a Mustang. We also decided to go with bullet style glasspack mufflers because they are so sturdy, and they hook up directly to the headers. I just hope they aren't too loud. Finally, we added some skid plates to protect the front suspension and the driveshaft.
  8. Wow! Lots of great entries! I may join mid-year as well. My mind couldn't wrap around the idea of doing a van, but seeing all of these ideas has me thinking differently.
  9. Great stuff guys!!
  10. Great project, and fantastic fab work!
  11. Sweet!! Great fab work!
  12. Killer build!!
  13. Merry Christmas Gene!
  14. I've seen a couple of shows from the series Trans Am on Motor Trend. I don't like the show but the rides are sweet! https://www.motortrend.com/cars/chevrolet/camaro/2018/trans-am-super-duty-455-drag-car/ As for the demise of Pontiac, if they hadn't eliminated them with the loan they would certainly be eliminating them now.
  15. That is wicked!!
  16. Yes, and the Michaels near me has very few models, and even removed their Testors rattle can paints and now only sell the bottle paint. I drive the five miles to Hobby Lobby now and only bother with Michaels for tools, beads, etc.
  17. Interesting options/questions. The Previa is technically a minivan, so I don' t see why not. Ditto the Kei van. As for the 'Stang van I don't think so. Vans based on cars was already ruled out.
  18. Stuff looks fantastic! I'd love to get my hands on one when they are available.
  19. Nice build! Very well done.
  20. I wonder if that guy pays taxes on his ill gotten gain. Maybe IRS needs to know.
  21. Well done Scott. An example of how it should be done!
  22. I ordered his V12 LS engine and it was really nice. It did take a while but I don't think it was three months. Maybe two though, but I expected that because he states on his site that orders take 3 weeks to produce depending on when the order was placed, then shipping over the border to his second party mailer, then U.S. handling and shipping. As far as collecting money; when you pay via Paypal they don't collect until the vendor says they shipped it. So if someone is collecting via PP and there's no one producing product then there is an issue. I have said it before, resin casters don't communicate well, and I don't think many have a system for prioritizing orders by first come first served so some orders fall through the cracks as I have experienced. Even from some reputable casters. Some casters say that it takes away production time to send emails. What's a customer to do? They need to notify us in some way that there is an issue, and how many weeks they are behind. Maybe in a mass mailing. My two cents anyway.
  23. The best bits I've bought were Tamiya. Not the smallest sizes but they work for everything I've needed them for. 1MM, 1.5MM, 2MM, 2.5MM, 3MM Previously I bought a set that had no tips, and a set that bent line wire, both from Amazon.
