  4. Nice work Pat. I built one last year and thoroughly enjoyed it.
  5. I used the Competition Resins tunnel ram for this a few years ago. I think it's a good fit.
  6. Awesome!!
  7. No prob. It's not on the bench yet so I haven't primed the parts yet. The first pic shows how high it would sit. Pic 2 is the rear shot, As you can see from the 3rd pic, the distributor hole is in the wrong place. That will need to be reworked. I included the 1:1 pic to show how the manifold sits lower than the valve cover as does the TB manifold
  8. Awesome build! Very well done!
  9. Not sure about why, but I had the same issue on my Starliner with DC paint. My entire car came out like your issue, so I stripped it and then bought a new can of the same paint (True Blue). I used DC primer first, thoroughly prepped, cleaned then repainted and the same result. The last time however I went ahead and polished it with auto polish and voila, all was well. I used DC a lot, and it hadn't happened before. Dunno if I'll be using it again.
  10. I'm using that manifold as well on top of the printed block.
  11. I think your friend needs to first determine what he does best, or most efficiently, then ask for input on that area. Wheels vs. engine parts, etc. Myself, I'd like to see wheels available in 1/25 & 1/24 scale 18" to 20", but you'd need to survey to see which sizes make sense businesswise. i love the suspension parts idea (think R-B Motion), but it has to be cost effective. Good luck.
  12. Great start! Looks like a winner to me!
  13. Yes, way to bring it back from the brink! Looks great!

  15. Very nice. The colors are fantastic!
  16. Now that everyone is back from the holidays, work on the Tiger is back on track. Since I didn't have to bail anyone out of jail this year we worked all night to get the chassis done. We changed out the front brakes to larger rotors and 4 piston calipers. We also added larger rear drum brakes from a Mustang. We also decided to go with bullet style glasspack mufflers because they are so sturdy, and they hook up directly to the headers. I just hope they aren't too loud. Finally, we added some skid plates to protect the front suspension and the driveshaft.
  17. Wow! Lots of great entries! I may join mid-year as well. My mind couldn't wrap around the idea of doing a van, but seeing all of these ideas has me thinking differently.
