Yes, its a Monogram. I bought one oob and planning on a restomod. Its been maligned because of the custom seats and some other issues. You did a nice job making it close to stock!
  6. I love it! Sweet little build!
  7. Impressive work Claude!! A lot going on there.
  8. Nice work! Very neat.
  9. Yes, very well done Ashley. I like how you turned the paint issue into a positive by adding some slight, and well placed weathering.
  10. With the way GM is focusing on self-drivers and EV's, I see a possible pivot away from racing anyway except for supporting the Vette, Indy cars, and their logo on funny cars. Just my opinion.
  11. That's a fantastic build! Very well done.
  12. Great looking project Tim! Impressive work.
  13. Well done!
  14. I like the color as well. I'm working on 4WD on the Lil Red Express, and I like what you've done in adding a modern mill and dash.
  15. I hate to see cars die, but I can't afford any of the new ones anyway. My wife has an SUV and I still have a 2011 sedan. I don't know what I'll do when it dies because like you said Bill, the market wants tall vehicles. Personally Guido, I love the latest gen Camaros. Other than the 69, my favs.
  16. Thanks for the post. I'll give it a go.
  17. Very nice! Well done.
  18. Thanks for the encouragement guys. Here's a quick update. I'm using the 2x4 manifold from the Thunderbolt kit (I bought several partial kits of different cars), and as you probably know the stock FE manifolds don't straight up fit the cammer engine. As you can see below, I modified it at bit, moving the distributor in a bit to line up with the cut-out in the front cover, and moving the water outlet to the top of the manifold. I also finished deepening the oil pan. I wound up cutting it a bit from my original mock-up. Additionally, because the battery in the kit was molded into the fenderwell I had to remove it surgically, which required me to rebuild the inner fender to something that resembled stock. I added a piece of styrene that allowed me to add an indentation where the stock battery would go. Thanks for looking.

  20. If you want to mini-tub, you could start with a full kit and just add tubs from a scrap chassis. Spotlight has the complete stock kit for $20 plus shipping. Like Mike said, cheaper than a resin. https://www.spotlighthobbies.com/amt19chnossh.html They also have the Grumpy Jenkins version for a bit more. You might get some extra goodies with that version. Good luck whatever you decide.
  21. Beautiful build!
