  1. Do you know if they've caught up on their orders? They had a statement on their site about keeping up with orders. I'd like to get their leaf spring set.
  2. Fantastic job!
  3. Great project! Bad paint was a bummer. I hate when that happens, especially when its not my fault. I have a 62 I plan to build stock. I'll be watching.
  4. Yes, and there are a few on eBay, but not on the cheap. Not a kings ransom though either. Spotlight has one for $25 plus shipping.
  5. The 210 and the hardtop bodies are not the same. I wouldn't try that if I were you. I think it would be easier to buy a 32 kit and come as close as you can.
  6. Really well done! I needa try to make a really clean stocker like that. Awesome!
  7. I agree. This should have been a new model. This is the result of the Ford GT I believe. I can't afford any of them anyway so whatever.
  8. Well, you calling it easy doesn't convince me that it is. I've seen your work, and I don't come near your level of expertise at fabrication. That said, I am fabbing my own springs for my AFX Mustang.
  9. Fantastic build!!
  10. Welcome Dave. Just strive to be the best you can be. Some of these guys are true masters.
  11. I second Drag City for the ladder bars, and Shapeways or fabrication for the axle. The issue with fabbing your own is in the springs, which are harder to do.
  12. Hey Rob. Over the years there have been a lot of tales of woe regarding RR. I've wanted to buy stuff he's offered but been turned off by his unreliability. Pun intended.
  13. Nice project! Good luck.
  14. Looks sweet! The color is awesome!
  15. I've done several and I've always used CA, its never failed me and is easy to use.
  16. A reply from a post to another forum: "...doing clear is by far the hardest material to use! You will need to have an absolutely mirror finished mold to avoid distortion and be aware that the tiniest piece of dust will look like a meteorite in your windshield." I did see in the past however that a guy had great success using soda bottles, especially for curved glass. Hope it helps.
  17. Sweet! I love the paint! The engine detail is awesome as well.
  18. Nice build!! I love it!
  19. Depends on what you want it for. For most of my work I use Tamiya. I don't have issues with Testors because I haven't used it in a long time. One other gent swears by Squadron. Bondo 1-part is good, I used it to level a top on a resin car but it was a thin coat. For heavy filling and mods I use 2 part bondo. Bonds well, dries hard, and doesn't shrink.
  20. Teds is great! Ships fast and very reliable and a great guy. I've bought from BNL in the past but not lately. Always got what I wanted and decent delivery time.
  21. Very well done! My eyes would fall outta my head trying to work those little pieces!
  22. Glad to see this taking shape! The stance is awesome!
  23. Fantastic build!
