  1. Sweet!
  2. Hey John, did you ever finish this? I'm assembling parts to do one and just wondered if you completed yours as I don't see any further updates. Thanks.
  3. Very interesting setup that I've never seen before. They appear to be designed to limit the rear end from rotating causing spring wrap-up.
  4. Like...Wow!! Simply awesome!!
  5. Thanks much!
  6. Very nice job! I built that kit this Fall and it was a blast. That dimple in the roof will show if you don't fix it. I think I used Tamiya putty to smooth it out. Nice piping material!
  7. Drag City Casting on FB casts the Pontiac rear end without the brackets, and for less than the full kit. I've bought from him and he's reliable and has good products. https://www.facebook.com/dragcitycasting/?fref=gs&dti=173972342685783&hc_location=group_dialog https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/member_dealer_directory/drag-city-casting-/parts/dsc08487.html VCG Resins has a drag bell housing that you might be able to use. It's under Drivetrain almost halfway down the page. He also has a bellhousing w/mounting plate that can be tweaked to add those extra mounts. http://vcgresins.com/main.html Sounds like an interesting project. Good luck.
  8. Great job Jean-Pierre! Fantastic weathering.
  9. Great fab work! Taking notes.
  10. Great build Rich! I love that era but have yet to build one. You're inspiring me!
  11. Great collection Greg!! Where did you get your OHP decals?
  12. Nice work!
  13. Great pick ups. Good luck!
  14. Awesome! Very well done.
  15. Thanks. You are correct! I knew something didn't look right. I'll pull it and trim it.
  16. Thanks guys! Then I assume it was added during a later racing season than '65/'66.
  17. I like it as well! Sweet!
  18. Yes, very well done!
  19. This is a pic I took of a 65 BFx Cyclone interior. There is an extra lever located just in front of the Hurst shifter. Anyone know what it was for? Thanks.
  20. We're progressing well with the Tiger. Here are a few mock-up shots. Still having clearance probs with the hood even with the hump. Ronnie suggested that we go with a lower profile unit that drops down around the carb. Now finding one in the parts bins will be the challenge. We also had a slight problem with the windshield frame but didn't want to fix it until all of the rough stuff was done. The pics don't do the color justice. The red is a really red red. I've got to work on that.
  21. Sounds like fun John. I'm currently building that kit for the Peking to Paris Community Build. Be aware that there are some fitment issues with this kit. I recommend test fitting everything before putting it to paint or glue. The engine was in fact the best fitting of all of the subassemblies. G'luck!
  22. Nice job Greg! Looking good!
