  1. I've seen a couple of shows from the series Trans Am on Motor Trend. I don't like the show but the rides are sweet! https://www.motortrend.com/cars/chevrolet/camaro/2018/trans-am-super-duty-455-drag-car/ As for the demise of Pontiac, if they hadn't eliminated them with the loan they would certainly be eliminating them now.
  2. That is wicked!!
  3. Yes, and the Michaels near me has very few models, and even removed their Testors rattle can paints and now only sell the bottle paint. I drive the five miles to Hobby Lobby now and only bother with Michaels for tools, beads, etc.
  4. Interesting options/questions. The Previa is technically a minivan, so I don' t see why not. Ditto the Kei van. As for the 'Stang van I don't think so. Vans based on cars was already ruled out.
  5. Stuff looks fantastic! I'd love to get my hands on one when they are available.
  6. Nice build! Very well done.
  7. I wonder if that guy pays taxes on his ill gotten gain. Maybe IRS needs to know.
  8. Well done Scott. An example of how it should be done!
  9. I ordered his V12 LS engine and it was really nice. It did take a while but I don't think it was three months. Maybe two though, but I expected that because he states on his site that orders take 3 weeks to produce depending on when the order was placed, then shipping over the border to his second party mailer, then U.S. handling and shipping. As far as collecting money; when you pay via Paypal they don't collect until the vendor says they shipped it. So if someone is collecting via PP and there's no one producing product then there is an issue. I have said it before, resin casters don't communicate well, and I don't think many have a system for prioritizing orders by first come first served so some orders fall through the cracks as I have experienced. Even from some reputable casters. Some casters say that it takes away production time to send emails. What's a customer to do? They need to notify us in some way that there is an issue, and how many weeks they are behind. Maybe in a mass mailing. My two cents anyway.
  10. The best bits I've bought were Tamiya. Not the smallest sizes but they work for everything I've needed them for. 1MM, 1.5MM, 2MM, 2.5MM, 3MM Previously I bought a set that had no tips, and a set that bent line wire, both from Amazon.
  11. Looking great!
  12. Awesome build and display!
  13. I use HobbyLinc unless I can find it on Amazon. I do eBay for parts and stuff if I can find a deal from a reputable source. For "really" hard to find stuff I use Spotlight and Model Roundup, but they are on the pricier end.
  14. Great project! Keep'er goin'.
  15. Hey Lou, Pat already started posting his in the workbench forum so have at it. I might do the same but I'm so irregular with my posts so I didn't yet.
  16. Sweet!!
  17. Awesome fab work! Glad you're okay. Hope you can find a worthy replacement for your Stang.
  18. Great job! I'm working on that kit now and you did great in making everything fit so well! Very clean.
  19. Welcome Philippe!
  20. I'd say yes, as long as that style was available when the car was new. I just think they were trying to make sure the big oversized racks weren't used. 8.2 Roof racks are permitted provided they meet the following specification: - They must be of a design available at the time the car was in production - They must be made of metal - They must be no longer or wider than the roof panel - They must have sides no higher than 45 cm (18 inches) - The roof rack and spare wheels must not be covered
