I agree. The '55 was the best of the tri-five Chevy's. Much cleaner lines than the '56 or '57.

John, your work and attention to detail is an inspiration. I can see this car in a car show in the 60's with the color and changes you made.

I have looked at this a few times now. I'm not sure about the green, but that's just me. Your build is just great and I think the '55 was the best of the tri-five Chevys. Love it.

Looks great! I'm a big 1st gen Firebird fan. I had a 68 back in the day and always thought they were an improvement over the Camaro.

I really like the roadster but even more interested in the next project. I really want to see how you mate the '41 front clip to the '48 coupe. I had a '41 and would like to re-create it. I have a '41 woody and '48 coupe, just waiting for you guys to show me how to put the two together. -

I hope you meant PRE cancerous. That was my diagnosis 18 years ago. I had a portion of the colon removed but have had no problems since. Just regular colonoscopies since. Best of luck and keep getting checked.

It was a beautiful car. I saw it at a car show in Syracuse NY back in the sixties. The paint was amazing, especially for that time. -
Since no body else mentioned it, the tabs on the front of the frame rails were for a tow bar that was in the old AMT 32 roadster. The tow bar just hooked over the two tabs. I also like how well you brought this back to life. I think my first car model was that AMT roadster.
