  1. Now that's what I'm talking about. It's like you read my mind. Did you do a build thread on that one?
  2. That's very well done and the black paint is perfect. Just about like a 1:1 I would like to have, just in maroon. Looking at this inspired me to order the 48 coupe and some honduras maroon paint.
  3. Rest in peace Harry. I have your book and had hoped you would be able to sign it when you recovered. I know you're in a better place now.
  4. You shouldn't be using those while driving anyway. Too many people doing that now.
  5. This is an interesting topic. I bought my first car in 1965 and have owned 26 till now. 12 of those 26 were manuals. I enjoy the feeling of being connected to the car, listening to the rpm's and trying to match them for smooth downshifts. Luckily I don't get in heavy traffic much anymore but would probably still own a manual. My current daily driver is a C5 Corvette and I absolutely love driving it. By the way, I'm 72 and again, lucky I don't have the physical problems some of you are suffering from.
  6. Looking a little further, it appears to be an Australian trailer bus. There's a bit of information about them on the internet. Even a site called busaustralia with a forum thread about them.
  7. I'm n Not sure, but it looks like right hand drive. Is that a steering wheel on the right side?
  8. Talk about memories. In the early 60's to early 70's I used to spend just about every weekend at E.S.T.A. (Empire State Timing Association). I know I saw that car run there. Thanks.
  9. Just sent something. Not much, but I hope it helps.
  10. This is absolutely outstanding.
  11. That looks really good. I love the 2nd. gen Corvairs.
  12. That is just cool. I drove his big brother some and can't imagine as a daily driver.
  13. Just ordered a copy. I enjoy Harry's builds and hope he can return to building soon.
  14. Like most of you, I have had a number of cars I would like to have back. But the one I miss most was my '67 Corvette convertible. I sold it to get married and now I don't have the car or the wife. Just a couple of faded old pictures of the car.
  15. I can think of nothing more depressing than to be seriously ill and alone. I sincerely hope the improvements will continue.
  16. 84%. Would have done better if I didn't second guess myself.
  17. Not today but this past week. My wife and I are both retired and receive Social Security. As you may know, there was a small, and I mean SMALL, increase this year for the first time in about 3 or 4 years. So what do they do? They raise the medicare insurance premiums the same amount as the raise. Sure glad we aren't dependent on just SS. I feel sorry for those that are.
  18. Okay, I'll add mine. 2003 triple black Corvette convertible.
  19. I really like the blue roadster. Neat touch with the radio antenna.
  20. I really like that. I actually had a 67 I bought new that was the same color and interior. Mine wasn't an SS though. Just a 327 4 speed car with the SS interior. Thanks for showing this.
  21. Great color.
  22. Really well done. That added details look great.
  23. Excellent job and a great shade of green.
