  1. David, Have you thought ab out a dark red for the interior of the Chevy?
  2. Interesting topic. When I was 16 there was a guy around the corner selling a '34 Ford 5 window coupe for $500.00. I didn't have the money and by the time I had gotten it, he sold the car. Of course that was in 1960.
  3. The paint looks really good.
  4. Great article! He was a pretty bad a$$. Took some guts to go up against Joe Louise too.
  5. After 48 years together, I'm sure this isn't the first time you've been chief cook and bottle washer. I hope everything goes well for your wife.
  6. That kit looks great. As the former owner of a 67 Vette I'll be following this.
  7. I like them both. I also had a couple of Corvairs. My first was a 66 conv. much like your model, metalic blue with black interior and automatic. The second was a 64 coupe, navy blue with light blue interior and 4 speed. Both were fun to drive but I wish the 4 speed had been in the convertible. Better handling than the 64.
  8. Really like the color and the half tonneau cover with snaps.
  9. Looks great, very clean looking.
  10. Looks great and captures the time well. Well done.
  11. That looks good, especially for that scale. I always liked the Navy and Army pre-war paint schemes.
  12. Haven't got a picture but there's another Jennifer to consider, Jennifer Garner. Think about "what's in your wallet?"
  13. Th pikes peak idea sounds good. How about something along the lines of Aaron Kaufman's (Gas Monkey Garage) Falcon?
  14. As usual the engine is outstanding and I really like the green and white paint.
  15. Back to the original question, does anybody know what has happened to Cato?
  16. Great look into the past. Some interesting unusual cars too. I saw a Bugatti and maybe an Auburn? Not sure about that one. Don
  17. Looks really great!
  18. Same as 426 pack. I'ld like the phaeton and have no interest in the xr6 except for parts
  19. I don't know where it should go, but I would be interested in the pictures when you find out.
  20. Beautiful car and that paint is outstanding.
  21. Looks great and the color suits it.
  22. I agree. The '55 was the best of the tri-five Chevy's. Much cleaner lines than the '56 or '57.
