  2. OK, thanks. I'm not very familiar with WWI armor. Don
  3. That looks really good and the weathering is spot on. What is the wing tip shaped piece? Don

  5. Those look great. I wish the midgets would come back.
  6. Really like the color. Good job.
  7. Great job! Beautiful car.
  8. I'm sorry there doesn't seem to be more interest in this. I love the old classics and would follow if this starts.
  9. Best wishes for your wife's full recovery.
  10. Congratulations and sympathies both. Did this about 3 years ago and still can't find everything. I think there are gremlins in moving trucks that go through your stuff and take out what they like. Don
  11. Congratulations!
  12. Great build.. Makes me think of some of Harry's builds.
  13. That looks great. I agree, these cars look much better without all the extras. Much cleaner looking.
  14. Following along on this. I remember when the E-type came out. They were stunning and still are. You're doing a great job.
  15. I definitely like this project. It's gonna look great with that red paint you've chosen.
  16. That came out great!
  17. Check out George Klass website. Lots of starting line photos and all from the 60's and earlier. Maybe got some ideas there.
  18. That looks great in the diorama you created. The lighting is very real looking.
  19. Great job! Looks like you climb on and ride it.
  20. They are great cars. My wife had one just like yours but with a standard. She loved the car and it was a ball to drive. Unfortunately in trying to avoid a head-on collision she went off the road and hit a tree on the drivers side. She was very lucky in only getting a badly sprained wrist and bruises from the air bag but the car was totaled. So at most there are only 3499 of them left.
  21. I'm glad to hear the good news. I hope her recovery continues as well as it has.
  22. I used to build aircraft but I would have never thought about doing one in that scale that required rigging. Very well done. Don
