  1. I really like this. I had a 41 coupe in the 60's and could only dream it would look this good.
  2. Hang in there Richard. I'm sure you're motivated to keep making headway.
  3. You want windy, try a tornado some time.
  4. Looks amazing. I really like that color.
  5. Welcome to the forum. I'm from Alabama also and live just south of Birmingham. I think you'll find all kinds of great tips and inspiration on this from. Don R
  6. Take a look at the '41 Ford hood. Same shape and same narrow bullnose.
  7. Sorry for your loss Snake. Sudden death doesn't give you a chance to prepare for it. At my age (75) I've experienced a lot of long term illness resulting in death but to have it happen so unexpectedly not very often.
  8. Very sad day in our family today.Yesterday my nephew's 14 year old son was hit and killed by a car while riding his bike to school. I can't imagine having to bury a child.
  9. If that picture is accurate on my screen, I had a '59 convertible the same color. It was called Cameo Coral and was almost a pink and came with a grey interior. My first car.
  10. Like everybody else, that paint job is outstanding and I really like the green.
  11. That looks really good.
  12. There was a version of the AMT '29 Ford Roadster done in red. Had a red car on the box. I have one but don't have a picture.
  13. Looks like it just rolled of the showroom floor. The gray looks great.
  14. I really like this one. Like some of the other posters, I like the narrow body Cobra more than the later ones. You did a good job on this one Ray.
  15. I fail to see this as a big problem. I just scroll through them and pretty much ignore that they are there.
  16. I owned a '66. The front bucket seats are different from the '69. The '66 used the older style used on earlier models and they changed in '67 to the style used in all the other Chevy models.
  17. I'm glad to see this and the Corvette back on track. I rarely comment but your builds are all like tutorials for models I would love to build. The attempt to build as close to reality as possible is what is truly impressive. Don
  18. I'm very sorry for your loss. It's a blessing you had her for so long doubly so that you were able to visit recently.
  19. What everybody else said. Beautiful job.
  20. Beautiful job.
  21. Great job restoring that. And I'm sure it has much more meaning to you than just the restoration.

    '56 Chevy

    Great job!
  23. Definitely not the only one. I had an '85 Chevy S10 extended cab and it seemed to be the perfect size. Had plenty of room inside and I could haul anything I needed. It was a manual with a 2.8 V6. Don ps. I used it for it's intended purpose, a truck, not the family limo.
