  1. I very much have the same issue. And can't seem to do any of them. I think my 50hr a week job doesn't help LOL... plus the 10+ hrs of driving I do each week for work definitely cuts into my time. (I live an hour from work) I have 4 project cars ('77 Mustang II, '88 Mustang hatchback, '94 Mustang GT, and a '93 Lincoln Mark VIII.... yes... I know... way too many irons in the fire) Plus model building video games musical instruments (I seem to collect them more than I do attempt to play them) Sadly I want to get into more hobbies... I'd like to try my hand at metal detecting. I have definitely burdened myself with the things I love
  2. Thanks, I'm using the bed and B pilar/back half of the room from the AMT '65 or '66 El Camino. They look more like the Ford styling. I keep forgetting to take pictures of it. I'll see if I can dig some up.
  3. I'm working on creating a '68/'69 that will eventually possibly be casted. It's based off the AMT '69 Torino Cobra
  4. Wow. It would take a lot to convince me it's resin and not plastic.
  5. Nice. I wish I could build models at work. Would be the only way I'd ever build lol Looking good so far.
  6. There were plenty of people taking photos, perhaps someone has uploaded them to photobucket or fotki.. although I haven't seen anything pop up yet. If it does I'll post it.
  7. Nice talking to you today. Can't wait to see that charger
  8. That looks great! How well does the Charger chassis fit under it?
  9. They're accurate for a Torino/Fairlane. Not a Mustang. Yes, with some work the Cougar part will work. I've considered hacking up a chassis or two to make it work better.
  10. I'd buy more 71-73 kits if I had these parts! I'd love to have a better chassis/under hood detail one of these days too... that MPC/AMT chassis is caca

  13. I have found that Tamiya lacquer won't come off with purple power... But DOT3 brake fluid does wonders! Just a douse in purple power afterwards then a rinse in soapy water makes it all better.
  14. Got an email yesterday saying my order had shipped as well. I didnt order much... which saddens me. Mostly '65 Fairlane parts, a 68 and 69 Torino GT bumper/grille, and the cop car wheels for the Lindberg crown vic.
  15. I have 2 sheets of those... one decent, one not so decent. Dunno where I got em, but I got em.
  16. Fantastic work!
  17. I have sort of let myself go. I used to ride my bicycle a lot... but I have a very stressful desk job... and even though I sit at a desk all day, being mentally exhausted at the end of each day is the same as being physically exhausted... Don't let anyone tell you it's not. So I get home and lounge. Then work on models sometimes. Haven't been really enthused lately though. The bad part is I never ever feel like working on my 1:1 projects anymore. Which is not good because I have 4 lol Plus I want to learn to play some musical instruments. Just not enough time in the day it seems.
  18. That number seems low. I know I can drive a stick shift... my back just tells me not to
  19. Pinch and bob the front rails. Pinch the rails starting at the firewall and bow them in until they fit in the nose. Hack the tips of the frame horns off. Make the motor mounts smaller. they're way out of scale. Get yourself some of those Australian PartsBox front "wild drop" I beam axles. lay the radiator back, and set the engine back.
  20. I did not know these kits existed... must find!
  21. That's really cool! There's a place here in Cincinnati called EnterTRAINment Junction.... and it's primarily focused on trains, but they have a MASSIVE facility and it goes from the 1800's to modern day and their display is the G scale or whatever is closest to 1/25... and so all the cars in the display are 1/25 scale! I was amazed. They also want people to donate cars to their display as well.
  22. Welcome!
