  1. Amazing! LOVE IT!
  2. Holy smokes... Good thing I'm not bringing a '29 Saturday. No competition after seeing this thing.
  3. nice work! a friend of mine built one that is almost identical to that. Same color, same pick guard, floyd rose, but I dont recall what neck/headstock. My friend also is starting to scratch build his own bodies too... check him out on facebook at R.B. Guitars. He's just kinda doing it for fun right now. I love guitars myself and would love to build some. I'm not great at playing though. Too many other distractions that keep me from practicing. Here's a picture of the body my friend is working on. he cut the body out out from a template he made off of cardboard.
  4. I'm not sure I could say enough great things about him and his products. I've been meaning to order stuff from him for the longest time and try it for myself, and finally after seeing his line of Bronco parts that he has available that finally put me over the edge. I purchased a few of his Bronco items, and some other items for some other projects going on. His communication back and forth is among the best, and his willingness to work with me on getting the parts I needed was extremely satisfying and ultra helpful. I got the parts extremely quick as well, and there were no surprises, I got exactly what I ordered and I must say, packaged *extremely* well. Will definitely purchase from you again sir! thanks Jesse
  5. I have heard that... but he hadn't been there the past couple years I was there. Last year and the year before. Hoping to see him this year maybe.
  6. I'd love to see him come to NNL Toledo some time
  7. I just dropped in a donation. Get well soon Harry.
  8. Oh man, that thing has some serious potential. I hope you really do finish it like you promised!
  9. Fireball Modelworks has some indy profiles.
  10. That's exactly why I don't. lol One of the things I hate the most is stalled projects. I have enough of that going on with my 1:1 cars that I don't want to even deal with it in 1:25 scale LOL
  11. I think I remember you from Facebook. I knew the "RRR" and symbol looked familiar. I had always wondered who RRR and KK were when a post was made... sort of a mystery... but I always enjoyed your drag car builds. I agree, facebook gets annoying sometimes. Politics were really starting to take over. I started resorting to posting pictures of hot rods each time I wanted to share something political. Kinda wish others would do the same.
  12. Very cool. I miss having a dog. I love my cat and would miss him greatly if he went away, but I really miss having a dog too. I've always had a German Shepherd or a Labrador, but my sister had gotten an american pitbull as a puppy a little over a year ago, and now he's a big lapdog baby so full of energy and always wanting to play or cuddle. And he's not small anymore, but it's hard to say no to a big puppy that wants to close to you.
  13. Again, your approach to everything you touch amazes me. I do not have that kind of dedication even though I want to lol
  14. Looks great! I bought the Duo kit recently myself... I hope mine turn out half as good.
  15. I will admit, that painting is personally my most favorite part. I just like being able to nail a good finish. Especially with rattle cans... which is how I do all of mine. I painted a porsche tamiya yellow and tamiya clear... and it was at night... and I was in a hurry. Somehow even with rattle cans that paint came out soo smooth and glossy I didnt even have to wetsand a thing. Super happy about that. I'll sometimes wetsand them a little bit and polish them but I didn't have to touch that Porsche at all. One of the reasons I almost use Tamiya exclusively now.
  16. I saw that too!
  17. It's the same kit. Just reissued basically. no physical differences.
  18. Really great work!!!
  19. Probably needs moved to another forum topic page.
  20. I've also just googled license plates of a certain year, found what I needed, and shrank them down to .5 x .25 and printed them. Just did it for my '55 Chevy service station truck.
  21. I clear over it all the time to seal it to the body and paint job. Otherwise if you handle your models a lot to transport them to/from shows... I've had it come off!
  22. Still have to be a little civilized! haha! Since it's not deemed to be a Cannonball competitor anymore, plans have changed, it's basically like a Resto-Mod offroader. I didn't want to go thru all the trouble of building bare interior and all that. Thanks everyone, Still waiting for my engine/trans from Clearly Scale... I might get some motivation back if I ever get that package.
  23. Man that thing looks great! I need to finish my '73 Cougar fastback conversion!
