  1. I'm doing something similar. I have the AMT '72-ish Cougar that I did a roof swap with the AMT '73 Mustang. Still a work in progress... can't seem to find the pics I had...
  2. I was about to say the same thing. A Tamiya "TS" clear will remain sticky. Same with a Testors/ModelMasters. But for rubber tires, cheap craft store/hobby lobby matte clear will work like a charm. I made that mistake on my '32 Ford Roadster I built a while ago. I painted the sidewalls white, because it had no decals... then cleared them with Tamiya flat clear... it looked great for about a week... but became sticky not long after and hasn't ever dried up completely.
  3. I ran into a guy who was doing this in real life. He had '67 Cougar, and had grafted a '67 Mustang fastback roof on it. He had figured out the trunk area and even had the fastback door glass in the doors and it worked like a charm. He hadn't worked the taillight panel out yet though.
  4. All he's gotta do is start a photobucket or fotki account and take a picture of his product with the product number and upload it to the site... similar to the link above... even though that's not his fotki account and not NEARLY all of his products. but anyway I'll leave the dead horse alone now
  5. Just anything really. I like to see what I'm getting. I love vintage hot rods and stuff... but I'm not familiar with certain brands or what certain things look like. Plus, you know a half dozen different resin casters could sell the same thing and the part could be a little different from each of them.
  6. Sure would be nice if he had his own site w/ pictures so I can see what I'm looking at... Even if you couldn't order from the site it would be great just to get a visual of something before you spend money. I know, I know, it's been discussed a million times I'll shut up now lol
  7. Man I need one of those scrapbook cutters... I can see so much stuff that it helps with. what is the brand/make/model of that thing you have??
  8. And you say you don't have skill... I think that hearse is ready for another shot!
  9. I like hearing different accents more than anything... I always enjoy listening to Aussie/Brit/Scot/Irish accents. I have no accent... unless I've had a few to drink, then I get a little twang. lol But anyway, the different/alternate words always intrigues me as well. Lately I find myself listening to music in languages I can't even understand (Russian, specifically) but for some reason I enjoy it.
  10. Then you go and tell us that you got 3d printed parts coming ... man... I need your awesome set of tools lol
  11. Great looking rust! That is exactly what I plan to do with my Datsun when I get around to it... I want to replicate the Rotsun from Roadkill
  12. I like the modern street machine touch you gave it. It also reminds me I need to badly rebuild my 2dr Monaco.
  13. I'd love to finish my roadster pickup..... at some point. It's "on deck" in my kits to be restarted. I always feel that deadlines make me put things off until..... well, the deadline.
  14. 100% of the kits that I purchase will be completed... at some point lol. I buy to build, not collect.
  15. I know. He was using the word "awesome" as a reply to describe how quickly you build. And for lack of better terms, he used the word awesome even though he doesn't like saying. But also over-complicated the reply explaining why. If that makes sense.
  16. I want to join so bad, but I fear I won't complete a build again. Nor do I know what I would even build.
  17. Looks great! I want to start building some of these types of oldies at some point...
  18. This is fantastic! I have wanted to recreate the interceptor and a few others from the madate max game
  19. Yard sales, 1:1 car swap meets, craigslist, facebook, from friends, a second hand model parts shop (yes, one existed for a little while near me, it was freaking fantastic) and of course hobby shops and ebay.
  20. I ordered several little parts on May 17th. Nothing yet.
