  1. That turned out really nice. I just finished one I'll soon post pics of. I like the front end treatment for a nice stock look. The colors look spot on also. Nice job. Jeff
  2. Excellent looking truck. The mesh tailgate looks terrific. Great weathering again. Really nice. Jeff
  3. Wow, great rendition of the original truck. And to get it autographed also. Too cool. Great job on that build. Jeff
  4. Good looking dump truck. Looks like a factory job. I wish someone would make a kit like this in styrene, all in one box. There are so many trucks like this in the real world, I can't see why one of the bigger names couldn't do it. Add a trailer full of mowers and weed wackers and you would sell a million(OK, maybe not quite a million, but close, lol). I'd like to build one, just don't have the time to do all of the alterations and scratch building you did. Great job. Jeff
  5. I loved that show too. Just watched 2 episodes today on retro tv channels. Can't wait to see how yours turns out. Jeff
  6. Great looking Scout. I like the sbc swap. Nice choice of red too. Funny, I thought about putting a cowl hood on my Scout when I was driving it around in high school. Just didn't have the money then. Great to see more Scout models, keep 'em coming. Jeff
  7. This should come out neat. I'm on board for the ride. Jeff
  8. Great looking Blazer. I'm currently working on the same kit. You just made it harded for me to decide on the color for mine, really love that blue. The custom exhaust look good too. Keep up the nice work. Jeff
  9. I love looking at your photos. Not only are your trucks outstanding, the diorama you use as a backdrop is museum quality also. Great work. Jeff
  10. Great looking Jeep. I'm glad the spare tire bumper/antenna mount worked out. Looks great. Jeff
  11. I saw in another thread that Ertl kept the tractor and wagon molds, I wasn't sure if the backhoe was included or not. Thanks for the info. Jeff
  12. Good looking backhoe. I hope Round 2 has these molds and reissues it soon, I really want one. Just don't want to pay collector prices. Jeff
  13. Lets try this again. ^^^^^^ I noticed this in hpiguys video, so disappointing. Jeff
  14. Wow, that came out nice! Is that one of the older Monogram kits thats unobtainioum? I hope I can find one that's affordable some day. I picked up one of the new ones to build, but I always wanted one of the smaller ones too. Great job on yours. I like the custom soft top for it. Tires and wheels look good too. Good job. Jeff
  15. Funny story, well maybe strange, even heartbreaking, this car was burned to the ground. I use to belong to the Miniature Railroad Club of York, PA, which is right beside the former garage of Dave Strickler, owner and driver of the Old Reliable cars. Some of the old rr club members recounted the story of one night, the gang hanging out in Strickler's garage, in a drunken fit, rolled the car across the street to a vacant lot, poured gas on it, and lit it up. Apparently, the car was sitting in the driveway of the garage unused and for sale. With no buyers, after awhile, they got tired of looking at it. At least that's the story I was told many years ago. BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH shame. Jeff
  16. This is great news. Hope to pick one up this go round. Have the AMT bulldozer, Autocar dump truck, crew chief Chevy Blazer, El Camino. Hope to start my own construction company, lol. Now, just need the backhoe kit rebooted. Jeff
  17. Very nice. Definitely has a Bronco look to it, nicely done. Custom bumper and parts look spot on. I'd be happy to take it four wheelin'. Jeff
  18. I wonder if they could leave a part or two off to represent the parts I loose when I build something, lol. Jeff
  19. It looks like its mounted to the spare tire bumper stop. My old '92 YJ had a spare tire bumper stop mounted just like that on the corner. When you swung the tailgate open, the spare tire would rest against that. Jeff
  20. I've found out over the years, the best way to launch a part into the stratosphere is to try to GENTLY grasp it in a pair of needle nose tweezers to paint it. Works every time. Jeff
  21. Great looking build. The weathering on it looks spot on. Nice to see one that isn't shiny. I like how the exhaust comes out of the end of the running boards. On a side note, the pic of the 1:1 truck, I have the same tires on my Jeep, coooool!? Jeff
  22. Very nice build. I was going to do the same thing with my 2 kits. Glad you finished yours. Mine keeps getting pushed back by other projects. Really like the stance and color choice. The roof rack and ladder are perfect for your build. Good job. Jeff
  23. Great to see this coming out. Hope I can cut the hard top and doors off the snap kit and graft them onto the stock kit to make my 1/1 daily driver. Didn't want to use the earlier Rubicon kit because of the wheel flares, rear end treatment and the non stock roll bar. I'll buy several for projects. Jeff
  24. Thanks for the great side shots. I'm glad the wheels look better than the goofy ones on the diecast. Can't wait for this one to hit the shelves. I'll buy two or three. Just wish the trunk opened up. It's such an important part of the show. Jeff
