  1. Nice job on this model. Eric Bana (actor) had one of these a while back and made a movie about his car. Can't remember the name.
  2. This is great. Really enjoying the models and info provided. Good idea.
  3. I like it and I'll bet you had fun building it. Thanks for showing us and the detailed work you did.
  4. And while they were on tour. Bummer. I like his influences of drummers as it says a lot about his character in my opinion.
  5. A brave and VERY talented man taking on such a project! I'm enjoying looking at your talented work and so many great pictures to show us.

    '66 Impala SS

Very nice! One of my favorite cars and you made it look so nice.

    Road Warrior

Those gas cans are actually a green color but show up blue in the pictures. Strange. I picked the color because I liked how it looked. Nothing more. Wondering why this model got moved from the "sci-fi" section to this one. Doesn't matter but maybe I shouldn't consider the Road Warrior movie as sci-fi?
  8. Thank you Jesse. That's a bad looking kit but maybe Atlantis will add a little improvement.

    Road Warrior

Aoshima kit of one of my favorite movies. Lots of interior parts included and added some of my own. Can't see inside but I know they're in there and enjoyed (mostly) detailing the interior and weathering the model.
  10. The reissued 1963 Nova painted with Tamiya TS-58 pearl light blue. Wanted to do a simple kit and that's exactly what this is. Added some boxes and vacuum cleaner accessories inside which you can't see but I had fun doing it.
  11. Been looking forward to the Jungle Jim Camaro but know nothing about it. Reissue of what past kit? If it is, how good was it? Can't tell with a picture of the real car. Thanks for any info since I wasn't able to find much on the Internet.
  12. Wow! Everything is done so well. That engine! Thanks for sharing your great work.
  13. All true and sometimes I have been lucky enough to look in my closet and see I do have the particular model the article refers to and take advantage of the builders step by step instructions. Along the lines of this subject I am glad I bought kits in the past and they have sat in my closet for years but haven't been seen since.
  14. Welcome and I look forward to seeing your F1 builds.
  15. Model magazines have had an entire article about a kit or two used for a project yet they aren't readily available anymore. Frustrating. The latest problem I've seen is a modeler letting us know they used Model Master paint. We might have some of that in our stash (I do) but sadly it is no more.
  16. Been a fan of doing away with this stupid clock changing for a long time but wanted "Standard Time" to be the permanent one. Always have said just leave it alone and eventually it will be daylight plenty.
  17. Very interesting story and a nice job on the "model".
  18. Your finished model looks very good. And yes, these kits weren't very good but glad we got them anyway.
  19. Wow, that shop is excellent!
  20. Looking real good so far and it appears you're having fun with it.
  21. Have ordered the Masterbox figures direct from Ukraine before and always got a nice note included and I believe a couple of goofy extras thrown in. Makes you feel a little personal connection with these people.
  22. I always point out a few things when I post pictures of my models such as the brand and color of paint and aftermarket parts. I know I appreciate other modelers that do this because there are times I want to use the same color paint they used or the aftermarket part they used prompts me to possibly go to the website and purchase it. It helps all of us in the hobby.
  23. Good looking strawberries! I remember way back when I picked berries in the summer it was a proud moment when a flat of these paid you $1.
  24. Yes, great movie. Especially in the theatre.
