  1. You could put me down for one, too. Stay tuned. I recently finished the Snake-Fu on a New Ray '70 Cuda. It doesn't look bad but really needs a repaint to reach its full potential. (It's actually a Hemicuda but is painted like an AAR, and that's the only way it comes.) Wouldn't it be nice if M2 would do a '70 instead of yet another variation of their '71?
  2. Would be cool to see those back in something. I think I used mine on a custom '69 Corvette, which I still have. I should dig that thing out and clean it up sometime soon. The wheels I'd REALLY like to see back are the Keystone Kustomags from the original issue '69 Riviera. Best Keystones I've ever seen! I used them on a '66 Skylark build.
  3. Thanks! Strictly completely absolutely straight from the box, only some minor detail painting, only glue was on the engine block halves.
  4. That is WONDERFUL stuff! Very easy to mix and you only mix up what you need, no waste. Start to finish your mold is ready in less than half an hour. I buy it with 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby, only about $16 or $18, very reasonable. I've made quite a few little molds from it and have hardly put a dent in the amount. Did I mention it's WONDERFUL stuff?
  5. Every now and then I get in the mood to do a brush-painted model, so I do a 1/72 WWII fighter such as a Spitfire or something of the sort.
  6. Very cool! You don't see these actually built that often. Model on!
  7. I had several projects started before the General Lockdown began, but last week I Snake-slapped this Polar Lights '65 Dodge together in three days.
  8. I had one of those, used it a few times without injury. Later, I tried to jury-rig an Xacto knife head to it and make my own "Auto Cutter." The aluminum Xacto head didn't survive two minutes of the first test session.
  9. Didn't recognize the name, had to Wikipedia him. Dunno if I've seen any of his movies but I saw a lot of the TV shows he was on, so I must have seen him at some point. Is he the first famous or semi-famous person to succumb to coronavirus?
  10. I wouldn't recommend it. You never know if it's gonna pull up with your tape, and even if it doesn't, if you have to remove any masking residue, almost anything you use to take it off will also remove the Future. It's fragile stuff. Yet another reason I don't use Future much if at all anymore.
  11. The stuff I have is almost as thick as toothpaste LOL.
  12. Got bored yesterday and Google-Fu'ed this down. I found pics of a set of the airplanes that looked just like the ones I remember, and they take coins in the nose, so that must be them. They're called True-Flight. Thing is, the ones I saw were on an auction site and dated to WWII, not the '60s, so maybe my Dad DID have the same ones! High bid on the complete set was $100, with another $100 "buyer's premium," YIKES!
  13. Same here. I just squirt out a drop of cheap craft acrylic matte black (it's thick) and thin it with a drop of water. Flows right in, excess scrapes right off with a toothpick.
  14. Wow. You just made me homesick for the late '50s.
  15. Another beauty from you! I'm becoming a fan!
  16. Very nice. Love the interior! Drive on!
  17. Scott, the PM system here won't work for me so if you want to communicate with me I'm at SnakeACP45 at AOL dot com
  18. That looks vaguely familiar. I seem to remember bottles of that stuff, with a white plastic cap with a finger pump on it, when I was very small. Was that a thing, or am I imagining it?
  19. You've got some real beauties there! The promos won't bring top dollar because they've been modified (much the same way I do them) but they're still worth a good chunk of change. In fact you've got more rare and semi-rare OOP cars here than "worthless" ones. If you're looking to swap any off, I'd be interested in the '68 Charger, the '64-'65 Falcon, and maybe the red Chrysler Imperial.
  20. Sweet!
  21. Stay safe and healthy, Vince, and God Bless!
  22. In other words, perfect to be built!
  23. Looks great! I couldn't have done it better myself! Drive on!
  24. The '66-'69 taillights are rectangular, not rounded on the ends. Doesn't look like it would be too hard to make one of those. Rear bumper might fit. But the '66-'69 kits are getting dear, too, even the late reissues of the SC/Ramber.
