Pretty cool, and looks like it was an easy, fun build. Model on! -
Just since you asked so nicely...I just finished it. Well, finished-ish. Couple little things it still needs but it's basically finished enough for the group build deadline....

Okay, GOTTER DONE...ish. Need to fit the front bumper better, and do the Riviera nameplates and a couple other little details and adjustments, but it's basically together.

Whoever did that box art is unclear on the concept of "ekranoplan." -
Very nice, and I think you win for First Built of these. When I read your words that the engine looked wonky, I looked at your pics and immediately thought the blower was oversized. Turns out that's what you were talking about. I think you're right. I think you're also right about this being more of a modern "gasser tribute" than a true period-correct "gasser," but I think it can be retro-ed without too much trouble. Well done and model on! Looking forward to seeing more of your work!

A few months ago I ordered a semi-expensive Roden model airplane I've wanted for a long time. Glad I did. Now I wish I'd gotten two or three of them. -
Looking good, thanks for sharing with us! Drive on!

I'm planning to go the other way with mine, mounting the axle on top of the springs so it sits a bit lower in the front. NHRA rules stated that the lower edge of the body could sit no higher than the centerlines of the axles, front and back. Although if you look at period pictures, this rule was often violated.

Beautiful job! I don't think I've ever seen this kit built better. VERY well done and model on!

Different and therefore interesting. A real throwback to mid-'60s modeling. Well done and model on!

Outstanding! You have disproved the old adage "You can't polish a turd." You are making me want to build one of these things, and there's one in the Snakepit. VERY well done and model on!

Still working on the '66 Riv. Got the white plastic body all polished out, and the hood fitted (needed a little detail work). Got the chassis, wheels, and tire pieces all picked out and cleaned up and the tires sanded. Decided to cheat a little and am using the interior from the parts-donor '69 and am rattlecanning it blue. Maybe later I'll do a nice detail job on the real '66 interior. With a little luck I'll gitter done by Tuesday deadline. As to the blue '67, got it apart. Got the scratches polished out of the roof; the rest of the body is actually pretty shiny and might have a clear lacquer on it. Got the chassis from the donor '69 pulled and ready to paint. Got the interior disassembled and ready to paint. I have to repaint the front and rear bumpers. It won't take a lot of work to finish but I'm setting it aside until I get the '66 finished for the Mar 15 deadline. Truth to tell, I got a little distracted this week by a cool original '72/'73 Camaro glue bomb I picked up last Sunday. Did quite a bit of work on that one. I hope to have all three of these models finished by the end of this month.

To me, she's saying "You spent all the money my mom left us for a house down payment on this POS?" He's trying to convince her this was a good idea, with no success whatsoever.
