That's an oxymoron. "Fast food" pizza is cardboard slathered with ketchup and some unidentified processed cheese substance. This is pizza

Shouldn't be a surprise. Rustoleum is the parent company of Testors. All recent Testors paint products are labeled as "Rustoleum". There is another line of paints you might be interested in. MRP One can never have too many paint brand choices.

Happy 92nd Birthday Coney island Cyclone!
SfanGoch replied to SfanGoch's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Hey, Ron. Contrary to what those on Longuylant believe, Brooklyn isn't a foreign country. Probably half the people in your neck of the woods are originally from there. You need to get yourself to Coney and take a few rides on it. Afterward, you can hit the boardwalk and enjoy some ice cold beers at Ruby's Bar & Grill. -
replacing o'rings on your airbrush
SfanGoch replied to porschercr's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
New O-rings. I have an Olympos HP-101which I bought over 30 years ago. I use methylene chloride, which is harsher than just about anything one can use to clean the brush and the original O-rings are still good. Lightly lubricating the rings with a minuscule amount of silicone grease or petroleum jelly, applied with a Q-Tip, prevents rubber rings from dry rotting. -
Paintscratch.com has Color Code: 2287-H Sierra Gold Metalli-Chrome listed for 1956-58 Chevrolets. You can order it in a spray can; however, it'll cost you $26.95 for a 12 oz. can.

I have used their FS colors and I agree with Charley about not using acetone to thin them. Re cleaning the airbrush, I use methylene chloride. It cleans EVERYTHING out of the brush.

Happy 92nd Birthday Coney island Cyclone!
SfanGoch replied to SfanGoch's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
That roller coaster no longer exists. The Cyclone is operational. If you're talking firsts, Coney is still home to the first roller coaster in America, June 16, 1884, to be exact: First roller coaster in America opens -
Outstanding! Now, all you need to do is find some 1/25 sprockets and you're in business. Seriously, though, that is a really nice price for what looks like almost eight feet of fusee chain.

In my neighborhood, Friday nights meant going to the fish store and getting fried fish and those wonderful, thick crinkle cut fries that turned the brown paper bag translucent from the oil soaking through. Catholic thing, no meat on Fridays. Not done today, though. No more fish stores.

Check Home Depot. That's where I get Loctite Super Glue Gel Control if I need it. For $2.98, not $28. $28 isn't the price for a single .14 oz. (4g) bottle. That's the price of a 12 pack.

Gone the way of the dodo and half-dollar piece. BTW, you'll be hard pressed to find any new stuff under the Testors name. Everything is being rebranded as Rustoleum. I noticed that when i checked the labels of new paints I bought.
