  1. That's awesome! I never got to see Alice but I always wanted to. Looks like a great time! I used to go to a lot of shows, but hands down the best I ever saw was Pink Floyd. Me and some friends took a radio station sponsored bus trip to Chicago to see them at Soldier field. This was around '93 or '94 for the Pulse tour. It was an amazing show! Sound quality was the best I'd ever heard live, and their performance was stunning. This will date it a little for you. Round trip bus fair and concert ticket total cost was $100. And these were great seats about halfway back in the middle. Don't even want to think what it would cost now!
  2. I planned to mow grass today, but it’s raining pretty hard. Guess I get some bench time after work!?
  3. Yeah, but it’ll totally be worth it. You’ll be much happier when it’s finished. And besides, it’s no race. Enjoy the process. I know you will too. That being said, I can’t wait for you to get into the body. I’m slowly tinkering with this same kit. Watch out for the mold lines by the door handles. Yikes.?
  4. @ Dusty and Bill - two questions. 1) Is bleed under still a problem, just like with masking tape? 2) How many coats of the mask do you need to brush on?
  5. Looking good Joe.?
  6. Wow! That's a terrific build. Excellent job!
  7. That is a really stunning car. Your workmanship on this is excellent.
  8. Between last night and this afternoon, I accomplished quite a bit (for me anyway). Yesterday, I shot clear on my Vega project. Also put a GTX (not pictured here) into primer. Today I got my Chevelle in clear coat, and shot grey primer on another job. If the weather holds, I’m hoping to shoot color on the GTX tomorrow afternoon.
  9. Really cool builds. Can you imagine rolling down the road on one of these things?? That would be a wild ride.
  10. That looks terrific.
  11. That’s a great build. Really nice work. And the photography is awesome. ?
  12. Awesome! That looks terrific. There’s something really cool about a shooting brake. It’s like the ultimate wagon.?
  13. Looks good! Nice work.? I started this kit recently but shelved it after doing a little research on here. It’s gonna take a bit more work than I’m prepared to do right now. But I’m hoping to get back into it this winter.
  14. Man that looks great! I agree with you. The ‘70 is one of the best Trans Ams.?
  15. Looks WAY better than the channeled version straight out of the box. To my eyes it always looked like the body sat too high off the ground when viewed from the side. But your version doesn't have that problem. Looks perfect.
  16. Perfect color choice! Is this the Revell kit?
  17. It looks really striking in that color. Great choice and great build.?
  18. Stopped in at the LHS while we were in Traverse City and picked this up. I’m not really into big rigs, but I’ve been eyeing these for a while. Looks like a cool way to display half a dozen cars.
  19. That’s exactly where you’d expect to see one too. Never dreamed I’d see them running around town like any other car. Guess it makes sense though. This is supposed to be the wealthiest part of Michigan.
  20. Sweet road bike! I ride Cannondale too.? Haven’t had it out once this year though.
  21. So I think this is pretty incredible. I’ve never seen a 300sl in my life until today. Saw the gullwing in the morning, and this evening I saw a white roadster! Two in the same day! I couldn’t get a picture of the roadster. I was driving. Theres an insane amount of money around here. Also spotted three Vipers parked in a row together.
  22. That’s really cool. Is this an older kit? Never seen it before.?
  23. That is one seriously good looking ‘Cuda. Great job.?
  24. Agreed. That looks pretty clean to me. Nice job.?
  25. Maybe. But Boyne Highlands isn’t too far up the road. Best skiing in MI. It’s my favorite place to be when there’s snow on the ground.?
