I had no idea this existed. With the Maiden tie-in, that’s just awesome!? -

Careful. The new rules will state: No posts about politics, religion, … or any model building techniques. ? Back to the original topic though. I have to say I’m fascinated by this method. I really need to pick up some of this stuff and try it out. -
Didn't know there was a kit of the V-max. I used to want the real thing bad. Great score on all three of those.

I’ve become a huge fan of Gary Numan’s early stuff. I’d known about the song “cars”, but never heard anything else from him. I found that album a couple of years ago and now I can’t get enough. Kinda weird for me since I’m predominantly into 80’s metal and hard rock. I play guitar and am drawn to guitar driven music, but there isn’t any on Pleasure Principle.

I just saw that last night. So cool that it still exists. I didn’t think there even was a real Boat for the show until I saw that.

Wow! Looks like a lot of work but it certainly paid off. Great looking build!

Popcorn wagon feasible?
atomicholiday replied to gotnitro?'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Point taken. And I get it if they are done for either artistic expression or as an engineering exercise. But I totally understand the statements above about being disappointed when finding out most of these things didn’t actually work. (Thanks for crushing my dreams dad! Next I suppose you’ll tell me Santa isn’t real…?) -

This is a pet peeve of mine on some of the more modern trends we've seen over the past 20 years or so. Stuff like tuner cars with wheels that stick WAY out of the wheel wells and are cocked at crazy angles. The concept of tuner cars I get. That's just modern day, high tech hot rodding. But those wheels? It can't possibility handle worth a darn. And donks?... That being said, at least they can travel down the road under their own power. Unlike many of the old show rods. -

Absolutely.? Sometimes it feels like I learn something new on here everyday. Of course, half the time it opens more questions. Love it! -
Another Duplicolor Question
atomicholiday replied to jacko's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Never ceases to amaze me how different people can use the same product but with different techniques and still get great results. Makes it difficult for beginners to understand how it’s done. I guess this just reinforces the idea that you need to experiment and find what works best for your particular style. -

Is there any limit for length of time? Meaning, is there such a thing as waiting too long between coats? -
Another Duplicolor Question
atomicholiday replied to jacko's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Question for you. What is the benefit of waiting a few hours vs say, 10-20 minutes between coats? -
Looks terrific! I never noticed that about the hood. Good catch.
