  1. Very cool build
  2. Looks awesome! I have a few stashed, now I HAVE TO do a drag version. Thanks.
  3. I sure hope you are right. I have a bunch of Revell "parts kits" that I couldn't or didn't want to correct the flaws.
  4. Very tastefully done. A lot of sparkle to that paint for sure. I always like your dash detailing. Good job.
  5. It is a resin piece from Australia. 'Bout 10 bucks delivered.
  6. I have my go-to solution for a dropped axle. I'll have to watch for the truck release.
  7. Right now I am at a crossroads. Not sure what to do with this kit, I know it is fairly rare and not sure if I can do it justice. Tackle it and do my best, or move it along to someone else? Not sure. I tend to want to change things too much, and usually, the things I mess with can be replaced. I know I cannot do stock, that is something I have never done. I am thinking a period hot rod, but nothing that ruins the integrity of the original kit. and try to use vintage kit parts (or parts of kits reissued over and over) Thinking 56 Ford Y block, Chrome reverse w/big and littles and a non metallic paint. Maybe blue with black fenders. Any thoughts? Going in the purple pond while I decide what to do.
  8. Looks kinda weird and cool all at once.... Keep going!
  9. Well, Bye Bye money......
  10. No problem, I just know most of us try to be as accurate as possible, especially with a scratch build or conversion. Just notice you are from Cleveland... I am 40 minutes from downtown.
  11. Another one of my favorite stock cars (71 Cyclone/Montego, 73 Montego GT and the 76 Cougar) Gonna watch this. As an FYI, the 1:1 hood for the Montego GT and Cougar interchange, so you will have the same shapes and peak, just no scoops.
  12. I tend to go for anything non-import up to the late 70's, with a few 80's cars and trucks splashed in. Rarely stock, but as minimal as a tire/wheel upgrade. A few of mine
  13. Hey, where you get the AC unit? I could use a few of those.
  14. Looks good. Personally, Granny should have had a Hemi! LOL
  15. OHHH NOOOO......... THE POPO!!!!
  16. I rather like it... Smooth
  17. A lot of opinions, differences and beautiful cars in this thread. In my opinion, nothing can improve the looks of the 1964 Galaxie 500. It is the car I see as perfect in every way.
  18. Why is this one $300, but he sold other un-built or sealed Renwal's for half that?
  19. Looks good other than the hood. Wonder what happened? I checked mine and it fits well.
  20. Great job... Doing the foil on these is quite an undertaking
  21. Great job on a parts box build. The taillights even are close the the German Ford Capri I'd like to get one of the AMT kits. I have the Monogram, but it is a curbside.
  22. Looks really good. Am I correct to read the hood is separate? Interesting
  23. Great stable ya got started there.
  24. First car (truck) I drove was a 70 Chevy C10. My grandfathers friend let me drive it right thru town. I was about 9.
