  1. Thanks, Stef! What an Awesome Build. I love it! Thanks for the extra photos. They just jump off the page.
  2. It sits too high. Seriously, the wheels need to go up much higher in the wheel wells. Preferably, until they don't touch the ground......
  3. I'm soery to hear that, Nathan. It does make following the Hobby harder. There are many Canadian members on this Board. I'd reach out to them and see what Mail Order Hobby Shops they recommend. I'd try to get all of your Paint and Glue in Canada, just because it keep you from having to deal with shipping HazMat items thru Customs. As for kits there are a a few well known On Line Hobby sites that ship to Canada. Good Luck. Alan
  4. Yep. Cheap, Tooling is paid for, Not seen in 30+ years, and not a usual subject. I'll be getting one, and I'll bet you don't see them at Ollie's.
  5. Love The Name. Looks like something I'd see a Famoso Dragway.
  6. Just Completed a Trade with Matt T. It was great. Trade with him in Confidence. Alan Alexis
  7. Great Looking Tow Truck! It looks genuine! Good Show.
  8. Wow! What a Sharp Build, of a Truck I've never seen before. The Yellow is a good choice. It makes the truck stand out well. Good Show.
  9. Looking Good! That Engine is a Lump, but not bad , considering....
  10. Finding out that the County I live in, (Kern County, California) has an Unemployment Rate of 9.0%. Up from 8.2% in January. No Wonder it's so hard to get work. County Sponsored a "Job Fest" last Wednesday, they had over 2500 people show up. You could could smell the desperation from the job seekers. I keep looking, but so far no luck...... Anybody need a 'work-from-home' Truck Dispatcher?
  11. HPI Guy has a build of it. Pretty Neat, other than needing new Resin Wheels and Tires. And it does need them, Badly. That said, the rest of the kit looks really decent for a kit tooled in the early 1980's. The new decal sheet is awesome, and if you intend to build any 1980's Ford Pickups, I'd order a replacement sheet from Revell just for the many sharp decals on it.
  12. Great Idea, Les, but be sure to get one that has a Brass anvil not plastic. The last few Leather Punches I've seen are cheap copies, and have a plastic anvil. They won't work or cut well. (the anvil is the little Gold-Coloured button thing on the bottom of the pliers. That's where the cutter will hit)
  13. I'd start with Fireball Models, Tim. https://www.fireballmodels.info/ He has some great MOPAR Wheels and Tires.
  14. Looks like you wrestled it to a great completion, Karl. I like it. Good Show.
  15. Very Sharp Builds! A pair of Excellent Rigs and Racers! I really like the Coo Coo Marlin set! Great Paint, Great Details. Good Show.
  16. Yes! Bring On the Thunder-Z! The hardest of the MPC Camaro kits to find & get. I've been outbid on about 5 of them, in the last few years.
  17. A Tanker or Tractor Trailer would be Cool options! Or maybe some kind of One Ton Variant.
  18. How Wonderful that you passed down a Family Name!
  19. Hey, Round2/Steve. While we are talking about the '34 Pickup, can we please have you alter the tooling on the Chrome tree and get rid of those Horrible, horrible rims that Lindberg substituted into the tool? Those "Champ 500" wannabe's are truly awful. Can we get the '64 Vette rims, or the original Custom Wheel Covers or just about anything else back in the kit? Please? That is the only Flaw in the otherwise excellent '34 kit.
  20. I can handle those same Electric Jobs, Mike, but that is as far as I'll go too. Anything else, and it's Call a Pro.
  21. Great , Imaginative Build! I really like the use of the 1/35 detail parts and the Walmart Trucks. Clever and Inventive work. The Finish is well done also. Good Show.
