  1. Nice Nissan's, John.! Thanks for showing them.
  2. The AFX Comet is the kit I'm waiting for. I hope it gets here soon.
  3. Yeah, I'd be up for a couple more of those. Mine was in a box of models that were stolen from my van in my driveway about 3 years ago. They made off with about 15 kits and $50 bucks worth of Aftermarket Decals.12 1/48 scale planes and 3 cars. the R.R. was one of them.
  4. I got One, Each of the '29 & '30 last year. Both have been opened. Those should hold me for some time. I'll be glad to see the kit back out on the shelves, though. That Small Block Chevy is a great engine, and I intend to buy another '30 someday, just for the 350. Can we get the Rat Roaster back please? Or was it a sales flop?
  5. Looks like something Korkut Varol from Turkey would have built! Great Job.
  6. It will be nice to get another one. I have one and have been stymied by the "Too Many Choices" question. With another, it will be easier to choose (and then build) one. Thanks Round2!
  7. It's a brand new tool. (about 2014) As far as I know only been run once. You're right about the detail. I replaced the back cover on the blower. I'll leave the driver out of mine.
  8. Now if Round2 would have just given us the Streetle Beatle Hood, the chrome looks like it is still on the Chrome tree. It could have been a 2'n'1 kit. Drat. I'll have to get one of each.
  9. Changed my comment to add the word "NOT" to the first sentence. Sorry for the error.
  10. My Hobby Lobby was blowing out those DD Sleepers last year. I'll bet they had 8 of them for sale, and even at clearance prices, took a month or more to get rid of them. I'll hope they sell well, but I'm not a CabOver Builder so I won't need even the 75th anniversary kit.
  11. I've heard rumors that the Bezels needed for the Boomerang Taillights did {NOT} make it into the new kit. Guess we won't know until somebody opens one. Looking at the Sprues as seen here, looks like not much was added to the chrome tree. I do see 8 new chrome pieces. 4 hubcaps and two sidepipes. The word from Round2 "41 parts restored or re-tooled" looks mighty thin to me, although the Hubcaps, sidepipes and 4 buckets are 12 parts by themselves.
  12. Truly Sad News. Like others, I knew him only from the board. He was straight forward and never flagged in his enthusiasm for the Hobby. R.I.P. Harry.
  13. I've seen the PYRO '52 Chevy in a diorama with a 1/32 Scale F-86 Sabre Jet. Painted in Strata Blue with USAF Staff Car markings. It looked great.
  14. Looks Great to me!
  15. I'll second the '40 Ford Sedan Injectors, comment. That is the first kit I thought of when I saw them. Great Build,as others have said. The colour works well on the '57 Body.
  16. Re: The seats. I've since found that the Serpent Heads are two pieces that glue to the seats. So it will be as simple as leaving them off. Now, I really want one. Is it me or does the nose piece on the Gee-T favour the AMT XR-6 Show Rod?
  17. Good Morning. I'm looking for some truck tires like these in the Photo, on the rear of Parnelli's car. http://i.wheelsage.org/pictures/mercury/marauder/autowp.ru_mercury_marauder_pikes_peak_1.jpg Do you offer anything that might fit? I;m looking for the sidewall cuts and something narrow. Thanks. Alan
  18. Add me to the '69 Galaxie list. I have the Sox and Martin kit, but I'm hunting me a '69 Galaxie.
  19. Doug Spencer, you nailed that. Whoever green lighted that needs to go back to the mailroom. With all the great work Round2 is doing on the Artwork front, Revell needs to step it up. Boxart like the '29 or '30 Fords would have been better IMHO.
  20. The 2008 re-issue of this kit with that artwork on the cover, is cheap usually, but my preference is to hold out for the new kit. Get great decals, and some awesome tires.
  21. You know at least the larger of the two chrome pieces is still on the Chrome sprue.
  22. This is great! I like the way this one is going too. I prefer the full top to the Carson, but that is just my tastes.
  23. Like it! Keep it curbside to build quicker. Just one Niggle. Those Huge "Steamroller" wheels just don't look quite right, IMHO. They give the car a 'dated' 1990's vibe. Maybe some a little taller and a bit narrower might do the trick? Will you be using a DuVall windscreen on it. This is just the place for one.
