  1. I think they should try a set with big & little tires(like the Polyglass GTs) with some nice steel wheels, and stock 60s dog dish hubcaps. I bet they would sell, there isn't a lot of kits with them.
  2. I like those too! I'd buy a few sets, and other 60s dog dishes(Mopar, Pontiac, Olds).
  3. I have the 2003 issue, red car w/black checkerboard on rear fenders. Box says street machine, but it has stock parts too(but no gasser front axle).
  4. Me neither, I guess with all the other cool cars running around in the late 60s, these kind of slipped through the cracks.
  5. Could that be a custom stripe on that red beauty? I don't remember seeing a stripe like that on a Galaxie. But now after seeing Bucky's post, I could be wrong.
  6. You thinned it with an IPA? I think a lager or pale ale would work better. Looks good-nice color.
  7. No pictures here.
  8. Maybe you could make a completely separate thread where we could complain about, and nitpick every model kit ever made since the beginning of time.
  9. WOW, that color...….makes me want to listen to "Smoke On The Water".
  10. I was just making a comment. I was not suggesting that anyone should opt to buy a kit from anywhere other than HobbyLink. JUST A COMMENT! P.S. It's a 100 mile round trip to H.T.USA for me, I just happened to be there.
  11. I just bought a 70 Torino at HobbyTown USA for $21.95. Probably about the same with shipping.
  12. I don't have pictures but, I thought Cathy Moriarty in Raging Bull was pretty hot. And currently Alyssa Rose on Graveyard Cars is too(but that might just be the beautiful cars that they work on).
  13. He's a con man and a rapist, and is right where he belongs. What really ticks me off, is all the years that I thought he was a cool, funny guy, and then to find out what a pig he is!
  14. That might be the best thing you can do with that turd of a GTO kit.
  15. Those are all very nice, I like the colors on all three. Choosing the right color is the hardest part of building for me. A black Sharpie works great for touching up your wheels on the Chevelle.
  16. I'm with Tulio, some cars should just remain stock.
  17. I got that flamed 34 at an estate sale a while back, along with a silver/black 57 Chevy with CARQUEST stuff. Both were in nice display cases@$10.00 each. These are really cool diecasts, I wish they'd had more. They did have 5 or 6 thousand Hot Wheels still in original packages.
  18. No pictures????
  19. I'm working on one of these too. Going to build a replica of the 73 Cuda that I bought new back then. I have removed the molded in hood and will replace it with the dual scoop hood from the 70 Hemicuda. I'm also using the chassis from the 70, and a lot of the interior parts too. I also had to fill the two giant dimples in the trunk, from the mounting posts. I'm also going to replace the center part of the rear panel so that the license plate is sunken in instead of bulging out. I'm just waiting for the release of the AMT 71 Duster, so I can use the engine to replicate the 318 that was in my Cuda.
  20. I'm pretty sure that I'm gonna buy one. I need the engine to replicate the 318 in my 73 Cuda build of my 1st new car.
  21. I just might do that. I thought all HL prices were supposed to be the same.
  22. The Hobby Lobby here has had them for a while now, but with a $32.99 price tag.
  23. OK, I thought they were still Vegas then. Maybe I was thinking about Barettas.
