  1. Actually I think more than half of them list death as a side effect. What I can't understand are the ones that "may cause diarrehia and constipation". Now I guess body chemistries may react differently, but I believe this is simply a catch-all statement to cover big-pharma's posterior. I never realized there were so many alphabetical diseases "I may have" that require me to tell my doctor I need a certain drug. Oh yeah, anything with Dick Vitale is an automatic mute, even a Duke/UNC ball game.
  2. If you have a Hobby Lobby close by, look through their beading section. They carry a product this is used for making necklaces, it is a very flexible black rubber-like tube. It is called "Pony Bead Lacing" comes in a 5 yd/4.5m roll and has an OD of .080 in or 2 mm. It also comes in clear, a bit large for a fuel line, but still looks good.
  3. Oh my, that is just one "nasty" looking Torino. I always liked that body style, and your touch just makes it that much more appealing. Mighty fine build.
  4. In today's climate not necessarily the situation. My local Bojangles has only one drive-up window, whereas the McDonald's has two, yet because of shortage of help only one is open. Both these places in the next town have two windows and both are opened. So I place the blame on the person taking the order for not giving the buyer directions as to which window to go to.
  5. Lot of work in this build and the results show your dedication. Beautiful build.
  6. Really sweet Chevelle. Does bring back memories of my youth.
  7. IMHO the '65 Chevelle is the ultimate Chevrolet, no matter the body style. You have done an excellent job with this one. Very unassuming color choice, yet it looks so right. That dual-quad 327 should move it on down the highway. Very nice job.
  8. Oh my yes, very nice Thunderbolt, the true workhorse of WWII. Even though it often flew in the "shadow" of the P-51, it still did an excellent job.
  9. Very convincing build. Complete rig really looks good. I am going to have to go back to your WIP and see how you did that hood.
  10. Really nice work kitbashing. Just might want to rethink those weed-burner exhausts, look to be quite low and a bit long. Still an excellent build
  11. Outstanding T-Bird. Your color choice really sets it off. And your photography could be in a factory brochure.
  12. Oh wait, you mean it is not about furniture sales and a day off work? says the retired veteran facetiously. Thank you for that note. Our local Veteran's Council sponsored the annual Memorial Day service at the county park. This is the eighth year I have been involved and am becoming all to familiar with the majority of people who attend; very few new faces or younger generation there.
  13. Great trade with Modlbldr, will gladly trade with him anytime.
  14. Tomorrow is the last day of school and I will not see a bus until sometime in August. Hopefully, by then, face masks will also be a thing of the past.
  15. Since the box art is orange and I see a bit of orange in your mock-up, I am going to presume the kit is molded in orange. Right? Would love to have this kit with the Wesphalia options. Owned a '72, traded it for a '78 Rabbit WWIT?
  16. Great stuff, really like the #21 Coach. Will have to go through your Fotki album when I get back from church.
  17. Very nice "old bird". Paint is very smooth, looks good.
  18. A little bondo, couple cans of spray paint and it will be good as new. Very nice weathering.
  19. One mighty fine looking silk purse from the sow's ear you started with. Really like those colors and the clean separation. If you ever get tired of it I know a shelf it would look really nice on.
  20. Harbor Freight is opening a new store in the town nearby. I am retired but drive a school bus. Thought I might try to get hired on part-time just to fill some time, in the meantime give up the school bus (politics and idiotic superintendents are getting out of hand). The local weekly paper had an article about the "new" business and listed an email address to apply for positions. Went to the site and it did not really list Harbor Freight but looked somewhat legitimate. When they asked for information so they could check my credit score I backed away and closed down the site. Now my spam filter is filled daily with all sorts of job offers, most from the same organization but all use different email addresses. Don't know how to get removed from their mailing list. Actually probably never will, I think they are the same folks as the car warranty people."
  21. Really sweet build. My first pick-up was a '72 C10 Custom long bed, 350 cid, auto, with the optional step bumper, and an AM radio, came in a sort of Hugger Orange. Really liked that truck except for the 10 mpg, which changed to 8 mpg when I added some "goodies" to the engine. Anyway back to your build, that black really looks good on it. Very nice foil work (or is it Molotow?).
  22. Excellent build, Agree with he others on need for more detail pictures. The Junior Stockers and Super Stockers were my favorite racers from the 60-70 era.. This one looks like so many from that time frame, simple paint, nothing really flashy, just pure bad attitude and speed. Love it.
  23. Just completed a great trade with Michelle. Quick shipping and excellent communication. Will trade again if opportunity arises.
  24. First off, what is this sanity you are speaking of? Really like the imagination you have to build this one. This is what concept builds are all about anyway, throw something out there and see what sticks. Keep working with it and it will eventually take the shape you want it to have.
  25. Is it possible your choice of primer could be causing a color shift? Maybe a lighter color primer would bring the blue back down to where you want it. Just some questions off the top of my head, you may have already considered this.
