  1. Is that Woodstock hanging upside down on the right just at the bottom of the sunset? With a little imagination is sure looks like him.
  2. Here a few of mine: The AMT Willys gasser has a fuel-injected SBC {there is a "Big Nasty" that has been in the planning stage for several years}; the hot rod is a Willys cab on a 34 chassis with Flathead power, LaSalle custom grille, AMT Lincoln wheels/tires, and scratchbuilt bed; the 34 has a 2X2 Mercury Flathead, rotted out wood bed, and 40 Ford wheels/tires; the last one is a MAGNUMSRT8RPU, began as an SRT8 Magnum, but I thought it would make a nice roadster pick-up, still in work. BTW: Repstock, those are some beautiful trucks, especially the red Ford, you do some excellent work.
  3. Very nice build. Also like the photography angles you used, adds quite a bit of realism to the photos.
  4. When backing up my F-150 with camper shell I still primarily use my side mirrors, just guess I am spoiled from years of backing a school bus into its parking spot. The real benefit of the rear-view camera comes when I am trying to connect my utility trailer to the F-150, I can get to within a couple of inches using that camera. Sure beats backing a few inches , getting out an looking, backing a few inches getting out and looking, then realizing I have backed too far, have scratched my bumper or put a small ding into that expensive aluminum tailgate.
  5. That is some tedious and excellent detail work; very nicely done. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
  6. Very nice work, as the other have commented your weathering is exactly right.
  7. Excellent rendition of one of the most beautiful car designs ever. Your attention to detail is above reproach. Thanks for sharing it.
  8. Definitely one beautiful fat-fender Ford. Just a couple subtle custom touches and they do not detract from the beautiful lines. Very nice paint color also.
  9. Some amazing builds. Love to watch your work.
  10. Getting in may not be too difficult, but crawling out again after a couple hundred laps could prove interesting, got a feeling those pipes would be toasty. Plus with the exhaust right outside the window, how is he going to talk with his crew-chief? And with caution laps the carbon monoxide would be pouring in through the windows. Laughable box art at best.
  11. One thing that works for me is finger nail polish remover, the good strong stuff not the PC kind. However I would not use it on a model, think it would probably cause some non-reparable issues
  12. They are horrible on a street car but they look pretty nice on a slower class dirt-track racer. A little bit of sanding to remove some of the flash and give them a worn look.
  13. Oh my yes that is one wicked S-10. Some mighty fine detail work, really enjoy looking at it and finding more I missed the first time.
  14. I was in Michael's about a year ago and found a kit, which is amazing in itself. Anyway when I checked out I showed them my coupon on the telephone and got 40% off. I happened to be wearing my retired USAF hat and the cashier asked if I was a veteran. When I answered yes, she gave me another 10% off, so I walked out with a kit at a pretty reasonable price. However I was back in there a few months later and the cashier would only give me either/or not both.
  15. PM sent
  16. Outstanding build from such an assorted collection of parts. Totally looks the part. Really like LSR's and this one is right there on the top.
  17. Very nice looking Ramcharger, like that color combination. Only thing I would change is to sand off the Revellogram corporate name from the transmission skidplate.
  18. Came across this video of an insane Mini-Cooper. https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/enthusiasts/this-900-hp-mid-engine-mini-cooper-makes-a-brutal-sound/ar-BB1bQtru?ocid=msedgdhp
  19. Very nice work, clean build. I have tried opening doors with limited success, but mostly non-factory opening doors. Most of the time I glue them shut. I have this kit in my stash, borrowed the bubble top for another custom I have in the works, am thinking of early NASCAR for mine.
  20. Looks to me like you defeated the beast of this kit. Really nice, clean build. I have built one as a short track car and have another in my stash, planning on a mild custom.
  21. I am in pretty much the same situation as Tyler. I have a good size collection, but aging past getting them all built. The issue I have with EBay is the payment process, they pretty much force you into using PayPal, which I do not want to get involved with. Any other suggestions?
  22. Here are a couple I have had for a few years. The Willys pickup is from the AMT Double kit has an injected SBC from the AMT 55 Nomad, scratchbuilt the trailer. The SCRambler has a dual-quad BBC with a scratchbuilt intake, fenderwell headers, fuel cool-can (did not get right and interferes with hood closing) and the tube front axle.
  23. Maybe they were put next to the TP aisle and were grabbed up in the latest Covid frenzy. I know COVID is no joking matter, but the way some people go over the top is somewhat ridiculous.
  24. Here is my "short" Long Roof. Resin body and wing, scratchbuilt frame and roll bar, tires are the AMT 'street tires' found in so many kits, engine is a 6-deuce set-up from I believe the 40 Ford kit .
  25. Having owned three Rangers I really appreciate this build and the backstory. I just recently traded off my 2010 Ranger for a 2018 F-150. it hurt to let the Ranger go, but I needed the size of the 150 to equalize the size of my utility trailer. Enough of that, this build is really fitting of the Ford Ranger, truly one of Ford's "Better Ideas". Looking forward to the updates. As far as "Overhaulin'", I think Chip may have reservations on taking this project.
