  1. Outstanding build from such an assorted collection of parts. Totally looks the part. Really like LSR's and this one is right there on the top.
  2. Very nice looking Ramcharger, like that color combination. Only thing I would change is to sand off the Revellogram corporate name from the transmission skidplate.
  3. Came across this video of an insane Mini-Cooper. https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/enthusiasts/this-900-hp-mid-engine-mini-cooper-makes-a-brutal-sound/ar-BB1bQtru?ocid=msedgdhp
  4. Very nice work, clean build. I have tried opening doors with limited success, but mostly non-factory opening doors. Most of the time I glue them shut. I have this kit in my stash, borrowed the bubble top for another custom I have in the works, am thinking of early NASCAR for mine.
  5. Looks to me like you defeated the beast of this kit. Really nice, clean build. I have built one as a short track car and have another in my stash, planning on a mild custom.
  6. I am in pretty much the same situation as Tyler. I have a good size collection, but aging past getting them all built. The issue I have with EBay is the payment process, they pretty much force you into using PayPal, which I do not want to get involved with. Any other suggestions?
  7. Here are a couple I have had for a few years. The Willys pickup is from the AMT Double kit has an injected SBC from the AMT 55 Nomad, scratchbuilt the trailer. The SCRambler has a dual-quad BBC with a scratchbuilt intake, fenderwell headers, fuel cool-can (did not get right and interferes with hood closing) and the tube front axle.
  8. Maybe they were put next to the TP aisle and were grabbed up in the latest Covid frenzy. I know COVID is no joking matter, but the way some people go over the top is somewhat ridiculous.
  9. Here is my "short" Long Roof. Resin body and wing, scratchbuilt frame and roll bar, tires are the AMT 'street tires' found in so many kits, engine is a 6-deuce set-up from I believe the 40 Ford kit .
  10. Having owned three Rangers I really appreciate this build and the backstory. I just recently traded off my 2010 Ranger for a 2018 F-150. it hurt to let the Ranger go, but I needed the size of the 150 to equalize the size of my utility trailer. Enough of that, this build is really fitting of the Ford Ranger, truly one of Ford's "Better Ideas". Looking forward to the updates. As far as "Overhaulin'", I think Chip may have reservations on taking this project.
  11. Definitely have my attention. Love watching full customs take shape. I like the stock shape of the early 'Bird, but your changes use that shape and take it to a whole different level. I have a couple customs in work that I really need to get back to.
  12. I will admit the Deuce is very well represented in the hot rod world, but IMHO the Model A makes a much better looking rod, especially with it straighter vertical lines. And the '27 Roadster has far more pleasing lines than the "corn picker/combine" rump of the 32.
  13. That is definitely one rough casting. Looking forward to what you do with it. A couple pieces of styrene sheet would make that into one wicked looking panel truck - just thinking out loud.
  14. Outstanding rendition of a beautiful car; the only prettier GM is a '65 SS Chevelle. Which kit did you build this from? The first kit I bought when I returned to building models back in '98 was the Lindberg version of this kit. It is still on my shelf waiting to be built, along with 200 more.
  15. Got #207 in today's mail. Very nicely done, glad to see it back in production. Couple of minor issues, seems to have a whole lot of full page advertisements for different aftermarket suppliers. I realize this is the first issue back, so some adjustments will need to be made. Yes the NNL was a big deal and I am glad to see the coverage, yet IMHO there again were quite a few more pages of coverage than necessary and of some mediocre models. Still all in all I am very pleased and looking forward to #208.
  16. Very nice build, excellent attention to detail. Really like those FED's.
  17. Excellent build. Really like the cleanliness of your roll cage, very nicely done.
  18. For dinner last evening I had way too much and enjoyed every gluttonous bite of it. Now I have to figure how to disguise the leftovers. I have spent a bit of time this morning searching recipes on the "net".
  19. Was sitting behind one of these "yahooes" at a light in town. Light turned green and they just sat there, I gave a light toot on the horn, they didn't move. Gave a louder blast and still no movement. Light turned yellow, they crawled a bit forward, when it turned red they finally made their left turn and gave me a "thank you one finger wave". If I could have got to them I don't believe it would have been classified road rage, but justifiable battery.
  20. Umm, a bit farther right than that. You have to cross a mountain range to get to my coast. ?
  21. I have been a NASCAR fan since I sat in the back seat of my uncle's new '58 Oldsmobile and listened to the '58 Southern 500 on the AM radio. I also held a Grand National (remember them?) Mechanics license for two years, then the military got in the way. Since "Big Bill" passed I have watched the series go downhill. I had a friend who went to a salvage yard bought body parts to put together a car, built an engine in his basement and went racing; he was not a front runner, but he had fun. When the stock appearing bodies went away, the sport itself went away. If I want to watch IMSA, F1 or any other form of 'exotic' racing I will watch it, but I do not expect that from an organization that has "Stock Car" in their moniker. In the late 90's I heard the late Dale Earnhardt on a local radio station prior to the October Charlotte race say what NASCAR needed was "one body style, and let the teams build the engines and chassis to suit the driver". He has got part of his wish, the one body has been here for too many years. R.I.P. NASCAR.
  22. Really looking forward to getting my issue. But then I am on the right coast so I can expect the USPS to take their time getting it here. It has been a long time coming, now it is time to savor some styrene news.
  23. Must agree with the other comments. That is one good looking rig, nice attention to detail. Also sorry to hear about your friend passing.
  24. Still waiting on mine, then of course I am on the right coast
  25. Oh what a tease. Show us more of your amazing artistry on this build. Really enjoy watching this rig come together.
