  1. Turned out nice! The wood floor is a great addition.
  2. Looks really good! Really like the colour choices. I'm in the finishing stages of mine, had a really weird issue, that I'll show when I do my UG post.
  3. Simple, plain, basic. I like it! Nicely done.
  4. I like it! Have always been a fan of the 944 series. As you've built it, it looks a lot like the Rothman's Turbo cup series we had in Canada, as you alluded to. I worked for the local Porsche dealer form most of the 90s and the early 2000s. We actually had one of the Rothman's cars. The series had a backup car that was there in case there was a crash or a breakdown. Somehow, it slipped through the cracks, and we bought it, and subsequently sold it. Then it was traded back, and we sold it to the Taj Ma Garaj, who subsequently added the Rothman's graphics to it. The car just went up for auction last year when the Garaj shut down. Our car was Guards Red with the white wheels. And it was an absolute beast in autocrossing. https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/tg19/the-taj-ma-garaj-collection/lots/r0009-1988-porsche-rothmans-944-turbo-cup/789635 The chronology listed is slightly off, as it was us that sold the car in 2002, not the previous owner. Anyway...
  5. I wonder...if you combine this kit with the AMT Escalade EXT kit, you could make the bigger ESV version.
  6. Still looks normal for me? First section is as you described. Try clicking the little down arrow over on the right side of your screen. Right under the "start new topic" green button. Maybe you minimized the entire section?
  7. I still love it. Personally though, I'd lower the front a smidge. Not much, definitely not a slam. But a little.
  8. It's not the revamped AMT Tahoe kit, as it's the newer body. The old Tahoe kit is a GMT420, this one is the newer GMT820 body. Despite being curbside, is still nicely detailed. Full interior including the B, C, and D pillars. The rear hatch opens too. Another oddity for a North American brand. The box art is wrong though and shows an ESV, and the kit is actually the standard length kit. I actually like how this one builds up.
  9. Personally, I think that is an unacceptable answer. If that's what their customer service is like, I'll keep that in mind next time I go shopping. I like these old Ford trucks, looking forward to seeing where you go on this.
  10. I have no problems with this. It's plastic, you're building it, it happens to have an engine. All is good. And I dig the paint scheme.
  11. Looks good. Nice idea with the headlights.
  12. Excellent paintwork!
  13. I came close at first. I've owned a 2018 Power Wagon and absolutely love them. Should have kept that truck. So I was so smitten with the subject matter that I almost jumped in!
  14. I know! That surprised me when I saw him in there! All these metal guys...and a man without a hat.
  15. YUp. Definitely going to try this.
  16. This was released today. A bunch of artists got together to record a version of Faith No More's We Care A Lot. This is to raise funds for www.roadierelief.com. Great cover of a great song from one of my fav bands of all time. And of course, the original...
  17. Unfortunate. This is the only reason I'm not ordering one. I can't justify that much for a kit.
  18. Because one can never have too many Porsche 964s. It's labelled 911 RSR, but the contents are more like a Carrera 3.8 RS, which is how I'll be building it. It's funny, the image on the front is the only image used. All sides of the box just a repeat that same picture. Ordered this on the evening of the 15th from HLJ, so that would be mid-morning Friday in Japan. Arrived here yesterday morning. That is some dang fast processing and shipping. Japan to Canada, 3 days.
  19. Wow. That is amazing work. Now it 's time to build the rest of the field!
  20. I don't work for a billion dollar company (yet) but if I go through the effort to get someone down to our offices for an interview, and I go with someone else, I always give the courtesy of a phone call. It's just the right thing to do.
  21. I think the colour turned out great! Really nice build.
  22. Nice build! I have this one, as well as the Aoshima kit. Not sure which came first, but I'm confident they are the same kit. Pretty simplistic kit, as you mentioned, but builds up nicely for the shelf. I suspect it's bigger than 1/24, maybe 1/20. The classic London Cab just isn't that big in real life.
