I think the issue withthe tuner cars is that the old guard didn't buy them. Also, that's three kit options for the younger guys. Not that much selection. No look at a Camaro. How many Camaro kits have been produced over the past 5 years? I'm guessing a dozen at minimum. It's tough, what do you make that will satisfy everyone? Totally get it. But let's be real here. The older guys are dying off, and if the brands can't figure out how to lure in younger peopel to replace them, the hobby dies. Kind of exactly what I'm talking about here. Not everyone cares about cars that were old when their parents were born.

Personally, wiring is the first thing I would check. Actually, first thing I would do is detail the car from front to back. Especially if there's been a mouse issue. I hate working on dirty vehicles. Once clean, THEN I would check wiring, espcially under the dash, make sure everything is intact. After that, I have no idea. lolz. I'm no mechanic, but I've been around cars and dealerships my whole life, and do my own work on my cars projects, and everything has worked so far.

Meh, another old kit. Would rather see something that hasn't been done before. I get catering to the old guard, and keeping them happy, but this is the sort of kit that repels youth away from the hobby. My 2 cents.

Did NOT get a ton of bench time in this weekend. Plus 25 temps and sun mean I'm outside! Got a bit of hiking in, got a lot of BBQing in, got the firepit fired up. Good times. Daughter also competed in a big Ukranian dance festival over the weekend. Two performances, two gold medals. She does NOT get her dance skills from me.

Just finished re-reading Who Built The Moon by Christopher Knight and Alan Butler. Most people will write it off as nonsense, but this stuff fascinates me. The authors of Civilization One return, bringing new evidence about the Moon that will shake up our world. Christopher Knight and Alan Butler realized that the ancient system of geometry they presented in their earlier, breakthrough study works as perfectly for the Moon as it does the Earth. On further investigation, they found a consistent sequence of beautiful integer numbers when looking at every major aspect of the Moon--no such pattern emerges for any other planet or moon in the solar system. In addition, Knight and Butler discovered that the Moon possesses few or no heavy metals and has no core—something that should not be possible. Their persuasive conclusion: if higher life only developed on Earth because the Moon is exactly what it is and where it is, it becomes unreasonable to cling to the idea that the Moon is a natural object. I read a lot of music biographies, and very few do I really feel like they've given me insight into a band. This one is like a genuine glimpse into the band. It's great.

Anyone can go fast in a straight line. Cornering properly, braking zones, plus acceleration...that's where the real fun is!

Got a little more done over the past couple of days. Getting there. And the more I look, the more ideas I get for some extra details to add. I'm enjoying this build. I managed to decant my spray paint and get the wheels done. Weird, looks blotchy in the pics. Reflections maybe? On the stereo last night... Pop Will Eat Itself. One of my fav bands of all time.

Very nice! I had a 2016 392 Scat Pack with Shaker hood. Awesome car. Get involved with your local sports car club, and do some autocrossing with it. You'll love it!

Pretty common place really. Lego do it, Carhardt do it. Toyota used to do it here in Canada. I've never seen sale prices on Tamiya product anyway.

I wish we could! It's crazy dry right now. Fire bans all over the place. Going to be a tough summer for forest fires and brush fires if we don't get some moisture. in the meantime, I'm enjoying the sun, and my shorts, and my flip flops!

For the record, I'm 44. I don't act my age that's for sure. And I only feel old in two situations: First, when I hit the volleyball courts. My knees feel 44. Second, when I'm talking to my 22 year old lot attendant at work. I'm literally old enough to be her dad. Without it being like "Wow you were young when you had her!"

It doesn't matter. But if you read the Future Of The Hobby thread, this is relevant. No one is forcing you to participate. But I don't djent! I just like more bottom end!
