  1. Snake, it is the same one. I am going through old stuff and came across the pictures and decided to share them. Thanks to all for your comments.
  2. The Corvette Grand Support is such an icon and before Accurate Miniatures started offering kits of the car I don't remember any kits. So I gathered up the pieces with a1964 MPC Corvette (one of my favorite kits) and set about making one. It took 2 bodies to get the opening parts right but I was pleased with the final outcome. Ismail may remember this one.
  3. Thank you David for identifying the TC. I have the Monogram and Finecast kits but did not recognize the one in the photos. Now I now what it is and it looks good. Gary
  4. David, Please identify the MG, is it a kit or diecast?
  5. David, The posing and stance of the mechanic and constable are spot on as is the MG. Excellent.
  6. Many years ago I flew into Dayton Ohio on a business trip and a friend let me know that Dollar General I think it was had Fujimi GT40s on sale for $4.00 each. I rushed over there and bought about 10 of them. I must have been quite a sight with this huge bag trying to get it into the overhead and then the bag broke!
  7. Thanks for your response. I might have to revert to light bulb filament if I can find some small enough.
  8. I like what you did with this kit. What did you use for the spring panel fasteners on the sides?
  9. Just getting caught up so congratulations on the response to your display. I am a fan of black and white photos because it allows you the viewer to use your imagination on the colors.
  10. I like what you did with the dio Pat.
  11. Looking good Pat. Interesting tidbit, this car started Le Mans on Firestones and then the rain came and they switched and finished the race on Goodyears.
  12. I like what you did with this old Porsche.
  13. I don't use the word cool very often but you sure deserve it this time.
  14. I like what you have done with this kit.
  15. Great craftsmanship.
  16. Very nice.
  17. Great project and so well done.
  18. Easily mistaken for the 1:1.
  19. I am impressed.
  20. Excellent model build, very realistic.
  21. I am very impressed with your engines and shop tools.
  22. Just got this in the mail and I am very pleased. It is the latest release by Welly, a 1/24 Corvette Split Window coupe. My only disappointments would be the tail lights lack a chrome surround and the exhaust pipe outlets are way too small. According to the web it is also available in blue.
  23. I am in a similar situation. Retired in May. Got the diecast bug a couple of years ago when I discovered Rite Aid drug stores were selling 1/24th Welly diecasts for $9.99. Their latest release is a really excellent 1963 Corvette split window in red or blue.
  24. Looking real good, almost subtle, I like that.
  25. I thought my first was a AMT/SMP 1958 Mercury but the bumper says 1959. This is after I had removed the all the decals and brush painted it.
