  3. A good friend of mine, sent me a couple "tease pics" ....(notice the '69 Roadrunners box art)....I didn't see any of those in their boxes......those were molded white & discontinued because Johan didn't pay licensing to use NASCAR labeling. Mavericks...very hot item!

  9. Great execution & blend of styling!! (using your quote) "that" sums up what this hobby is all about! ...... & this forum is an excellent stage to share & display. Very Well done!
  10. Fred, I am an owner of a 1:1 '66 Chevy c10 Fleetside...depending on which rear bumper you plan to use...mine has the flat bumper with a step on each end....that allows it to open 180 degrees....others could swing to the bumper. The tail gate it self pivots on the lower corners... no major hinge mechanism at all....just catch chains. " Hence great care " has to be taken to not let it drop down & chains to support it in 90 degree position. Hope this helps.
  11. And "that" will be Beautiful!!!!! I figured that out when you mention what arrived today.
  12. Here ya go! Maybe just photoshop it in.......?

  19. Like John......I too was fifteen when I bought my first ride.....had passed driver ed & waiting for my 16th birthday to officially get my driver license. "Those" were the days! Gasoline was .52 cents a gallon, new license & a '63 Impala SS 2dr HT 409 , 4spd ......I had a blast for the 7 years I had it...she would pass everything but gas stations! ...wish I never met that gal that convinced me to sell it! & YES ( I still hold that grudge! ) ....suppose I should be glad I never married her!
  20. I have one of each (AMT & MPC ) ... both kits are molded in White.
  21. The late & great! George Carlin
  22. I am actually Glad! that some "do dig them up!" First off...I am not as savvy as most members here....still have minimal luck searching out possible old threads that may contain the information most likely "already been discussed " that would be beneficial to me & really never knew it existed! Besides! We come into this world with "nothing!" We leave this world ..... With nothing but memories!! What's so bad with viewing threads that many of the newer member have yet to see? ....if you've seen it.....pass on by it.
