  1. This stuff will work if nothing else does.
  2. I have both the LP-19 and LP-20 and they have quite a metallic and glossy look to them. The LP-61 looks interesting. And I will see if the local HS has any of the Alclad satin clear on hand. Thanks.
  3. Well done! That’ll get ya to the beach in a hurry.?
  4. Nice work.? very sleek looking.
  5. Thank you all very much fellas.?
  6. Thanks guys. I had run across the SEM bumper paints while searching. The graphite idea is interesting and I have some (for lubricating locks) on hand. I also thought this Mr. Hobby Black/Green looks possible…maybe it and the graphite?
  7. They look good in purple!? I think you’ve seen mine Bil.
  8. What would be the best way to replicate the finish on the bumpers and trim on this car? Thanks for any ideas…pics welcome. Greg.
  9. Looking good Phillip.?
  10. Outstanding pair of Fords!?
  11. Fine, fine work on that Enzo. It looks great!?
  12. From the internet: Level 1 - Beginner's and snap-together kits which require no gluing or painting. Level 2 - Simple kits with up to 30 parts to glue and paint, for beginners. Level 3 - More demanding kits with up to 100 parts to glue and paint. Level 4 - For the more experienced modeller with up to 150 parts to glue and paint. And Level 5 kits are highly detailed and deemed to be “difficult”.?
  13. Or Tamiya pink primer with a pearl clear or light coat of clear red?
  14. Thanks Mario.? Thanks David. Other than detailing, I just dropped the front end a bit. Thanks, I show in my build thread how I first flattened some mesh before cutting them out. Thank You Dan.?
  15. Ohh, that is nice…and your shop always blows my mind!?
  16. A beautiful Cobra!?
  17. It turned out great David!?
  18. Way to use up them parts!? It looks great.?
  19. I’m finished with this one!? Pics under glass here:
  20. This is a nice little kit considering when it was tooled. It does have some issues that need to be addressed, but it builds up fairly nicely I think. Scratch built items include the pedals, shifter, turn signal lever, horn ring, door openers, defrost vents, washer bottle and nozzles, mirrors, exhaust outlets and headlight screens. Thanks for looking!? Build thread here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/185470-amt-1953-corvette/
  21. Wow, great start.? Shame that it’s only a curbside. The only Caddy I’ve built is the Monogram ‘59…beautiful kit!? I love the looks of these old boats, so…I’ll watch.?
  22. Amazing level of attention to details and great fabrication skills.?
  23. Nice work Matt! I like all the upgrades.?
  24. I hate it when that happens. Paint is always the part that intimidates me the most. I can’t see anything wrong with the roof in the pics. Shame about the hood, the color looks great on it though.
