  1. That is some of the most realistic rust coloring I've seen. Good job!
  2. That's the problem with those 3-wheeled stands, I like the 4-wheeld ones better. Nice job on the truck!

    Super nice job!
  4. That's why they put the panic button on the key fob...so you can find it in the parking lot.
  5. Very Cool! I had one of those with a nice 327 in it. It was brown with a white vinyl top.
  6. Outstanding! I love the details!
  7. It looks so natural, I wouldn't have guessed all the mods done to it. Nice job!
  8. I ran across this while surfing. It comes in all sorts of colors but I have no idea if it is suitable or not? Has anyone tried any of it? https://www.megahobby.com/products/mohair-brown-kens-kustom-fuzzi-fur.html
  9. I paint mine to match the interior also. I even made sun-visors for this '65 chevy from wire, an old gift card and masking tape. It depends on my mood how far I will go.
  10. That's what I did for my 'cuda because it didn't want to line up perfectly either. I figure if you open the hood you want to see the engine and carbs better anyway. Mine doesn't open, it is either on or off. Nice job on saving the Challenger!
  11. Well my plates showed up today, so now it is actually finished (except for putting the Hemi hood back on) !
  12. Wow! And I get frustrated when two parts don't it perfect. Nice job so far.

    Cool! Posi-trac!
  14. I was looking at that thinking WOW this looks real. The following pics look pretty darn real too! Good job!
  15. Very nice! I like it.
  16. Thanks! It's done now and under glass. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/142990-70-hemi-cuda/
  17. Really nice! I love the paint job!
  18. Yes, thanks for the tip about the quarter windows in my trim scriber thread! I have a couple coats of clear on top of the decals and BMF but I am OK with it the way it is. Next one will be better...I promise! Thanks all for the compliments.
  19. I am calling this one done! I'm not really happy with the clear coat, it would not go on smooth. I decided to leave it alone though rather than trying to polish it. Knowing me, I would wind up ruining the decals and BMF.
  20. Most drill press chucks would not hold a small enough bit for distributor wires. A pin vise could be chucked in the drill press chuck though. Also, any drill press I have used has had too much "wobble" in it to do that fine of work, especially if you compound any inaccuracies of the press and the pin vise?
  21. Fabulous job on that engine...and the whole thing!
  22. A good pair of scissors and a soda can?? I have never made them, but have been tempted to try this.
  23. Are you wanting a highway tractor or a 1/2 ton? The only truck I've built is a Revell '65 Chevy stepside...nice kit.
  24. Looking GREAT! I love that color combo.
  25. If you do the site:modelcarsmag.com subject search on google it can dig up some pretty old threads also.
