  1. So the earlier 64-66 chassis works and the tail gate logo is cut and paste. What about the windows and interior tub? I am more concerned with ease of fitment over accuracy.
  2. Looking for info on 1967 to 1972 Chevy trucks. I just recently made a trade for this resin 1967 Chevy Fleetside. There are no side marker lights ('67 only?). The grille seems to be '67 or '68. The bumpers read "1967". The back end is where I am confused. The tailgate shows the upscale trim level that I think first came out in 1969. The tail lights attached to the bumper look like upside down '66 or '67 Nova tail lights. The last picture is of the rear end of the bedsides for an AMT 1972 Chevy Fleetside. In that kit the taillights are separate chrome pieces. Does anyone know the history on the AMT annuals from '67 to '72? And, is the AMT 1972 Fleetside my only option for a donor kit? (I need glass, interior, chassis and suspension) I have plenty of spares for engine and wheels.
  3. Finally finished the back wall. It suffered from a severe case of mission creep. At first I was going with 3D printed windows and license plate decals on sheet aluminum. I still had lots of empty wall space so I added some road signs. After that it was street signs with the actual font used in the U.S. I was getting the hang of water slide decals on aluminum, so I added a few auto manufacture signs. The windows needed frames so I stained and clear coated some real wood. The scenery behind the windows is actually from a calendar. I took awhile, but I actually came up with an appropriate name for the shop and made a framed sign for it. Comments welcome.
  4. Sweet build. My dad had a light yellow one when I was a kid. I was 3 on the tree. The starter went out so he made us kids get out and push start it a number of times. He also showed me how to shaft gears without pushing in the clutch pedal.
  5. I see. While I have a few of those. They are not back in the queue yet. So... I guess I am out. I'll just encourage everyone else.
  6. No, it was before that. December was when I was taking another swing at it, found out the spindles were missing then it ground to a halt and I got distracted by my Freightliners and now my diorama. If you don't think it qualifies, that's OK.
  7. I noticed that too! I will be following.
  8. Steve, Welcome to the forum. My life parallels yours surprisingly. This IS a wonderful community of builders. I am often blown away with their skill and creativity. Enjoy the ride!
  9. Wow! That is going to be one flashy four door.
  10. Timothy, Very nice work on your custom parts there. I would be interested in one of those headache racks. Here are a couple of ones I fabricated recently.
  11. The graphics seem a little over the top. But I imagine in a display case full of builds, your average non-builder would be drawn right to it like moth to a flame.
  12. Very tasty 'Cuda. Well done!
  13. BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH fine job of weathering there. It makes me cold too! I do have a suggestion. Do this to the tires and rims for better fit.
  14. Beautiful truck. Could you share specifically which color green you used?
  15. Who do I contact to join? I could use the motivation to finish this.
  16. Nice idea. I do not have enough inventory (yet).
  17. That is good to hear. He had some things I liked to make a few unique builds. (Like a 70 Charger with 68 front end)
  18. Just ordered 5 items from him. Hope all goes well.
  19. Good to hear she is doing better. I know that an awesome, loving wife is a precious gift.
  20. Thank you David. I am pretty happy how they turned out.
  21. Very nice indeed. What is the source of the foam surround for the Ram Air?
  22. Very classy ride you have there.
  23. Thanks for the heads up. We shall see what my enthusiasm is for that (when the time comes). Except for the forums, I have no discerning audience around here that will even notice if I do or do not.
