  1. Pretty truck. Love the tail gate. But, someone stole your back bumper and hitch ball.
  2. I am a die hard SciFi guy. 1: The Expanse (Best special effects I have seen) 2: Firefly (Great story and characters) 3: Stargate Atlantis (EVERYTHING can be fixed by poking at a tablet) 4: Stargate Universe (You never knew what they were going to dream up next) 5: Eureka (Fun, campy entertainment)
  3. Nice build. I like this kit as well. I have built one slot car body, one replica of my Dad's Monte and just bought another on to use as a donor for my recently acquired 1969 Grand Prix.
  4. I have a dresser dedicated for hobby stuff. The drawers hold 6 model box bottoms perfectly. I have found that sorting for the most part saves time searching. That and whatever container or bag(gie) you use is preferably transparent.
  5. Great result. I would be proud.
  6. Keep building kid. Your 57 turned out way better than my 1st (and only) 57.
  7. I am partial to the AMT body but was still quite pleased with the Lindberg one except for the hood. I made a replica of my buddy's '70 R/T SE, an uptop '70 convertible and a 1 of none '72 440-6.
  8. It is in the middle of a trench AND is going to face down. It will never be seen as semi trucks are a bit fragile to be flipping them over to look at the underside. Also if you touch it up, it basically disappears. Can you see it?
  9. Well done. You nailed the stance on the white one.
  10. I am still impressed by the little wires you put in the tail lamps. Almost as much as the gold foil on the cigar.
  11. Nice work with the seatbelts and buckles.
  12. I do not paint parts on the sprue either. Most every part needs a little sanding or attention done to it. I CA glue the part to a stub of scrap sprue in a location that will not show when assembled. CA glue has a brittle bond which, while strong, snaps pretty cleanly when the cross sectional area is small.
  13. Foil would be my 1st choice. For painting, I would use Parafilm. No bleed under panel lines and the edges can be manipulated with a toothpick after trimming. It also never leaves residue like cheap masking tape. Even if it has been left on for months/years.
  14. Way coo; build. I have one in the stash... somewhere.
  15. That has been my experience as well.
  16. Lower hose only if it is easy. Sharpies for side marker lights YES! for chrome trim? no so much. Testors glue, EVERY build as appropriate.
  17. Thank for putting on a clinic with all the nice mods you have been doing.
  18. Excellent result. Where did you get the grille mounted mirrors and the LED lights for the top of the headache rack?
  19. Yes, more pictures.?

    Yard Art

Very creative idea that has been well executed.
  21. THANKS!
  22. New, it greatly reduces the hassle of missing or damaged pieces. The only model I have rebuilt was a 70 Pontiac Grand Prix as it was way cheaper than a kit at the time.
  23. Very creative! Do have any livery planned for it?

    Lemon Crate

Very nicely done! If you are bored with it, I will give you my address. ?
  25. That looks sweet! Do you have a pic of the yellow paint bottle? Is it enamel or acrylic?
