    I too always paint my chassis black. The Mopar purists would suggest body color overspray from the rockers in.

    Free hand works if you have a steady hand and significant lines to guide you. If I were to go all out I would use Parafilm bordered with fine line tape. Parafilm allows you to push the edges around a bit unlike tape. It also has zero bleed under if applied properly. The pick below was free hand.

    My 1st car was almost a 56 Buick. My dad declined buying it because he thought parts would be hard to get in 1978. I got a 68 Malibu instead. Unfortunately I totaled it two weeks after I got it.

    My brother was the LAST owner of 5 cars before turned 19. He either blew up the motor or the transmission from beating on them relentlessly.

    I am not sure what my official entry will be. I have restarted an AMT KW T-600 Canepa that stalled mid 2007. The engine is assembled and the body is painted so I am not sure it qualifies. It will (hopefully) not be the only big rig I tackle this year. I do have some goodies in the stash waiting their turn. Count me in.

    I have the convertible version in the stash. My dad had a 1:1 white '54 convertible that burnt the (you know what) out of side of my leg when I was a little kid.
