I have a personal relationship to this particular machine even though I made it as #11 instead of the #12 that we used to have in our monter back in 2005 when we where touring the swedish Junior Touring car Championchip. The car we had was on auction couple of years ago and as it seems it must have been a spare chassi or something since it does't have a chassi number, Looks the part though and I remember gaming Grand turismo in it as well as standing next to it while others where gaming. and I remember that it was quite light when we pushed it back an forth in to the trailer, even though the tires had low pressure. Here is a link to the one we had with uss. Jordan Peugeot 197, Formel 1-bil — 1997 på Bilweb Auctions I made this build mostly during a week when I was feeling under the weather. Box stock except for antenna that was replaced by a needle. Had a clear coat problem on the tires so the decals got a bit damaged. Far from perfect but I like these cars and it felt good to get something done. It was a nice kit to build, in 1/24 scale and nice decals, some where realy hard to get them to stick to the body and form around the curvature even though i was using solvents. Paint is Tamiya LP yellow airbrushed on and al other colors are by Vallejo. first time I tried the method to use a nylon sock to Make it to look like CF which turned out ok.

cool build! we have a simmilar series over here in Sweden wich is called Folkrace. Its a dirt track type event but you have mor of a street circuit layout and try to go as fas as you can in heats against several other cars. Cars gets banged up pretty good but you race them for years.

As a Swede it’s always nice to see a Swedish race car, especially when it was driven by a modern Swedish racing legend. Nice work -

Beautifull work there! The wheels on these ar the one thing i have had the biggest problem with, They have always seemt to shalow in front, But you did a great jobb on them as always. I have the RainX kit but no decals so in the future i guess i will make a custom racer. -
So i have cut up the body and made it 1mm wider on each side, front and rear as the original chassis 003 and 004. Which made the lines to blend better than in my experiment above. here it can be seen next to an other kit body, which would repressent version 1 of the body and hood if i have understood my sources correct, my thought was to build 2000 LM and 2001 LM but the body that comes with the decals for 2000 LM is not the correct one, the 2001 body is actualy more correct ecept for air intakes i guess which was different on chassi 001 and 002.
