My name dates back to college when I was driving a 1977 Chevy, a cool American car that I painted flat black, flat is “matt”, and paint on a caris called “lack” in slang. A friend of mine came up with the nickname Mattilacken and every one thought of was a good name since my family name Is Matti! So my nick name is “flatt paint” Me when doing some engine work after college

Beautiful build! Have this kit but the rain-x edition in a box but no body that will be usable since its warped beyond what i deem possible to recover. But I might get a new one (found a source). -

Smacked the Frankenstein LS engine together.. parts from my PB since I was a kid. Two different sets of heads on a revel c5 engine block. Silverado trans and oil pan, did not fit so I have to throw the Z06 batwing tray on it. A miss mash of front end drive parts.. 3D printed valve covers and a C5R intake. ? looks decent. Will try to put the decals on the intake boxes, little worried since I used pencil to paint it.. might have to re do the base paint.. what’s your thoughts?

Incredible. Just incredible. When following along earlier I could never expect such a In your face like green! Would have suspected some thing more toned back. But it’s really good to show all the details! Great work with each and every part of this build! Can’t wait for 100’s of finished pictures! -

#1 454SS Since the C5R Silverado race truck with its 427 Katech engine have gotten a turbo setup, the race team found them self with a extra carbon intake system, which would fit a LSX 454 longblock. ? So the Silverado trans will be sent out to Gear Star for a full rebuild to handle the power of the lsx 454, and the distance and later the payload when used as a hauler for the C5R Silverado when going racing. I had a feeling that it would be hard to build it OB.. And a lousy truck 454 engine could not cut it.. -
Cool lookin build Joakim! Wheels and tire combo is jus perfect!
