  1. Very nice and interesting build Sam?
  2. Nice job Jason?
  3. Cool build David!! ?
  4. What an absolutely stunning depiction of a great looking car!! I too have this kit and have been putting off doing it. Your work on is just beautiful Chang, and WOW, the paint work!!??
  5. Very cool Aymer. Good job??
  6. ??, and thanks again Chaz for sending me the decals.
  7. Looks great Jason, we all have opinions on the wheel's and I agree "old school" 5-spokes look great on these cars. But I did kinda like the chrome steelie idea on this one. It's what I had on my 1:1 '57 many moons ago. ??
  8. I think I know what you did there. Tedious!
  9. They are looking awesome Craig, can't wait to see how the DuraClear comes out (if that's what you're using).
  10. From what I can tell Chaz it looks good. The paint and color are great. Foiling definately takes practice and finessing. I PM'd you that I use #11 disposible scaples from ebay for trimming.
  11. Baaaad looking '55!! Looks great Joakim?
  12. Very cool Thomas, and yeah David (espo) I knew I'd seen those taillights somewhere.?
  13. I second that Stephen!!?
  14. Thanks Jim, Tru-color sure has a large variety of paints and colors. Has anyone used them.
  15. Boy that old wheel cover add sure brings back memories of my childhood many (way too many) years ago??
  16. Welcome to the "party" Colin.
  17. I checked out the Charger and made a suggestion about the foiling. Use masking tape as a guide, it works.
  18. I will check out the Charger. So far looks like a consensus on the strips, no point in wasting. I've had a strip break while applying it and I just cut the broken piece square at the end and put it on. Really, when you overlap a piece and burnish it down good, it's hard to see the "seam". As for the decals, I thought I replied about you sending them, I see the mail person is delivering the mail as I type this. Will check in a bit. Thanks again.
  19. OK Chaz, I don't know how I missed this one. Paint looks great, and "flexable acrylic"?? Good luck with the foiling, it does take a good bit of finessing. Another recommendation I learned on the forum is to use masking tape as a guide. There is a post somewhere on here about doing that, and it works!!

  21. I'd guess there will be a few opinions on this, I just do strips myself Chaz. Did'nt know you had another model in progress.
  22. Yep, it's getting there Mark?
  23. I gotta learn to keep my opinions to myself, nough said!
  24. Very nice Ismo. Cool drag car?
  25. I'll reserve comment on that.
