  1. Hey Steve, I searched for your build under glass but could not find. Can you comment in the thread to bring it to the top?
  2. Love it! Extremely cool. Trunk and under hood look so realistic, at least what I might imagine as real for a jet car. Does it have some sort of retractable landing gear?
  3. Thanks for the inspiration Steve. I hope I do your dad's car justice. I'll check under glass for your replica.
  4. Nice! Turned out great. I was watching it come to life.
  5. Nice work Michelle. Seems like every time you post a new build, it's better than the last.
  6. Interior looks to be in nice shape. Love the steering wheel. And the ball brings back memories.
  7. Indeed! The more I look at t though, the more I think maybe it is not two-tone and possibly just the lighting? Either way, I'm going with my scheme.
  8. Sure, thanks, how about some dashboard pics? Nice ride. Are you planning to restore it?
  9. For what it's worth, just thought I'd share this tidbit. I save those little flower tags for use making thin items when needed, such as these plug wire separators.
  10. This is what I was going for.
  11. So, not much progress. Been busy with life. I did decide on some colors. Tried to find some to match the Twilight Turquois over Twilight Blue Poly. Found these: coral blue and brilliant blue. They seem close enough.
  12. Nice 32 coupe. Thanks for the compliment.
  13. Me too, great work so far. My father had an International Travelall around 1972 that was probably a 1965ish. I was thinking to try to build it. Your build is certainly inspirational.
  14. Impeccable! How's that for a fancy word? Means ain't a dang thing to peck about.
  15. Will McNally be making an appearance on this one?
  16. A friend of mine once went to Earl for a paintjob........ Orange peal. Blamed it on my friend's prep work.
  17. I had the same issue recently with BMF and tried scuffing up the parts, but no difference. I was thinking the BMF adhesive was no good.
  18. Haven't had much time to work on this '62 Impala SS, but some progress on the engine. Nice details on this kit.
  19. Nice job on paint and body detailing. Anyone ever try to build one with an engine?
  20. Me too... Still in Chicago, but not a kid anymore.
  21. Go with glasser, then can sport some mean arse headers coming out the front fenders.
  22. Nice two tone work brother!
  23. Wow! That engine is the shzitz! (My son's term) Can't get much more realistic than that.
  24. Looking good!
  25. How long to wait between colors?
