  1. Preorders for many Car kits and others should be up on the website in the next couple of weeks! H1494 Green Elephant M2004 '82 Camaro M2006 '69 Nova SS H1244 '57 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham molded in Dakota Red!
  2. This is a hot mess. '69 Camaro tail lights? ?‍♂️
  3. Did anyone mention the 1/16 AHM/Gakken 1905 Rolls Royce yet? ?
  4. Houndstooth is still a popular pattern/fabric, and was a '69 Camaro interior fabric option, too. I've seen it on other automotive interiors, too, and IIRC some aftermarket company printed houndstooth pattern decal sheets as well...Scale Motorsport, maybe? Pictured below, Mark's living room chairs: Regarding that polka dot top, how would you keep a top that white clean? Those polka dots would fade after a few months, too, I bet. No idea what that orange fabric is...?
  5. Yes, the original release police car from 1992:
  6. Hard to believe the 1/25 Revell SnapTite Taxi/Fire Chief Chevy Caprice kit is almost thirty year old now, but it still holds up rather well, despite a few simplifications and being saddled with molded-in, Monogram style underhood details. Have a look at the contents here: https://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/thread/1586/revell-snaptite-chief-chevy-caprice
  7. Clear clipboard (and roof mounted taxi sign) found in the 1/25 Revell Taxi/Fire Chief Chevy Caprice kit:

  9. Toss that range tube of Testors glue in the trash bin, and don't buy more. There are far better cements/glues/adhesives available. A liquid cement, applied with a brush, will give you better control. Applying the cement a little at a time will soften the plastic (essentially, you are melting the plastic), which makes the plastic a bit tacky and gives both pieces to be joined a bit of "bite". Apply a little to both sides, wait the suggested time period (see bottle label), then apply a little more hold parts together for a minute, allow to cure.
  10. https://www.curbsideclassic.com/blog/1961-buick-convertible-tops-in-designer-fabrics/ As stated in the article, these never made it any farther than the concept/idea stage, but nothing is stopping you from doing it on a 1:25 scale '61 Buick.
  11. Replicas & Miniatures of Maryland released a '32 Chevy Sedan Delivery, but not sure if it currently available or not. This one's currently on eBay, with some nice images of the parts:
  12. Is it the same, or slightly different? I recall Accu Pro made an extended cab for the pickup version, but people stated it has a roof which was too flat. I don't think I've seen the Accu Pro Ramcharger, so if you are willing, please post some pics of it.
  13. Those two are both very similar to the Camaro's suspension setup-- super-tall front coil springs, Goodyear Tracker A-T tires (same as found in the more recent Snap Humvee), etc. Thanks for posting the intructions, you helped solve a transfer case mystery. ? Chevelle High Roller suspension parts, for comparison:
  14. Any mass retail store which carries 1/24 scale Jada die cast models will have at least one with those wheels. They are incredibly common and probably the most common "aftermarket" style wheel I have seen. Revell did release a 2008 Mustang Bullitt edition kit, but the spokes are a bit fuller and thicker, so not quite a match for yours. Pegasus released wheels just like that several years ago, but they were 19" and 21" if I remember correctly, so, again, too large for your project:
  15. That's good stuff, an interesting that they repurposed it for Waverider hauling duty. The trailer is rather crude, with styrene tires and such, but it's a perfect match for the buggy again, and I don't think we'll be seeing the SIlverado/Waverider combo kit ever again:
  16. Anybody recognize this two-piece transaxle(?)? Appears to be 1/25 scale, for a smaller car, but I am fairly confident I have ruled out the MPC Pontiac Fiero 4-cylinder, AMT VW Scirocco, MPC Dodge Daytona, and MPC Chevy Cavalier kits...maybe Revell Ford Escort?
  17. You can check out the contents of the Life-Like reissue of the Pyro BSA Grand Prix Racer from 1970 here: https://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/thread/1585/life-bsa-grand-prix-racer?page=1&scrollTo=1658 While Palmer kits are universally panned for their crudeness, I disagree that all Pyro kits should be held in the same regard, as they have created and released some interesting and nicely made kits, as Ellen noted above. I would agree not all of their kits were top shelf items, but there are some hidden gems in their back catalog, worth seeking out. Blanket statements are rarely accurate when it comes to model kit in my experience. I'd say these details are none too shabby for a 1/16 scale model created in 1967:
  18. There is a vacuum formed 1/8 scale belly tank listed in eBay now: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bonneville-P-38-Belly-Tank-1-8-Scale/224373739014?hash=item343db78e06:g:GfAAAOSwLrNgPPdH
  19. I doubt you'll find an exact color match in an existing paint, but it shouln't be too difficult to custom mix as it's only a tiny amount you'll need. I would start with Testors Flat Yellow and adjust as needed: Yellow - Flat 1169TT - 1/4 oz. Flats
  20. I'll take that bet. They released the 007 branded police car less than a year ago, so I doubt anything but taxi decals will be included in this version to make it more distinct. FWIW, there is a clear roof-mounted taxicab sign in the Reve'' Chevy Caprice taxi/fire chief kit, but only stickers are provided, no decals.
  21. Here are frame rail measurements for the Revell '56 Del Ray Sedan:

  23. Thanks for letting us know. The JO-HAN '69 AMX still seems reasonable on the secondary market, though, admittedly, it's been a few years since I purchased a Pro Street reissue. There's always the easily found 1/20 MPC '70 AMX, too.
