I found this one a couple of years ago after searching for a long long time. I was going to say I'd love to see it reissued, but at todays prices it would probably be more that what I paid for it.
All one has to do is go to the grocery store. When gas went close to $5 a gallon, the store I frequent blamed their 200% or greater price increases on fuel costs. Prices haven't gone down since.
Yea, but since you've got your house on the back, you save on mortage, property taxes, utilities, garbage.... seriously, though, that's quite a rig!
$2.29 in Fremont, Ca a few minutes ago. Anytime I fill my Durango up for less than $50 I feel lucky.
Thanks Bill, that was quite interesting. I like his approach to design hands-on rather than with a computer or CNC. I agree there is a softer, better flow that way. Used to live just around the corner from his shop. I've been a fan of his work for a long time.
I thought more people would get this one. There were only six of the originals made, and I don't think anyone would restore one and leave it in bare aluminum.
It's starting to really look good. That side trim added a lot to make it look longer and lower. Nice work on that chop, these aren't the most easiest of subjects.
I got a small item from them via ebay when they resurfaced. No problems. I have the distinction of being one of the 3 people on the face of the earth to receive an order from Arrowhead Aluminum AND Reliable Resins. I'm not pressing my luck any further, there are too many bad reports.
What about good old cheap Testor's Competition Orange? Looks to me to be a lot like the Audi in your link. Full disclosure, this is NOT my model, it was done by member MikeMc and posted in 2009.
